Be at the end of one's forbearance! The United States may punish Chinese companies, but we have not yet counteracted, and the US high-level has begun to seek a way out!

Tensions between China and the United States are intensifying, and the contradictions between the two sides are becoming more and more acute!

Be at the end of one's forbearance! The United States may punish Chinese companies, but we have not yet counteracted, and the US high-level has begun to seek a way out!

The unbearable U.S. government has said that it wants to punish Chinese companies, but before China can take countermeasures, the U.S. top brass began to seek a way out of détente? Where will this game of chess players go? Let's wait and see!

Recently, the news that the U.S. government announced tariffs on key industries such as China's electric vehicles has set off a new round of trade turmoil between the two countries. As the world's two largest economies, every tariff conflict between China and the United States will have a profound impact on the global economic landscape. This incident seems to be just a trade friction, but in fact, it hides the fear and suppression of China's growing industrial strength by the United States.

Be at the end of one's forbearance! The United States may punish Chinese companies, but we have not yet counteracted, and the US high-level has begun to seek a way out!

This move by the U.S. government is undoubtedly a blatant crackdown on China's electric vehicle industry. U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen's excuse of "protecting investment" is actually creating conditions for U.S. automakers to monopolize the electric vehicle market. This practice blatantly violates the principle of fair competition and will seriously distort the normal development order of the global electric vehicle industry.

As a major country of new energy vehicles, Chinese electric vehicle companies have won wide praise in the international market with advanced technology and high-quality products. However, the U.S. government's extreme protectionist approach is tantamount to artificially erecting barriers in a vain attempt to curb the pace of development of Chinese electric vehicle companies in overseas markets. This not only harms the interests of Chinese enterprises, but also has a serious impact on the development of the global new energy industry.

Be at the end of one's forbearance! The United States may punish Chinese companies, but we have not yet counteracted, and the US high-level has begun to seek a way out!

In fact, countries around the world have formed a pattern of benign complementarity and division of labor and cooperation in the field of new energy vehicles. Such a brazen destruction of the trade environment of fair competition by the United States is tantamount to isolating itself from the world and is doomed to lose the impetus for development. Blindly pursuing the monopoly position of local enterprises will eventually fall into an isolated and helpless situation, thus losing the right to speak in the future competition of the new energy vehicle industry.

In contrast, China has always adhered to the concept of open and inclusive development, and insisted on market competition in a fair and just environment. This is not only conducive to promoting the progress of new energy vehicle technology, but also conducive to promoting the coordinated development of the global new energy industry. Chinese enterprises are willing to cooperate with enterprises from all over the world on the basis of equality and mutual benefit to jointly promote the innovation and development of new energy vehicles.

Be at the end of one's forbearance! The United States may punish Chinese companies, but we have not yet counteracted, and the US high-level has begun to seek a way out!

The United States accuses China of "unfair competition" and uses China's subsidy policy as an excuse to affect the international trade order, which is a complete double standard and distortion of facts. We have reason to question whether the United States' own industrial subsidy policy is the root cause of the international trade imbalance.

In fact, the U.S. government has been providing huge subsidies to the domestic auto industry for many years, including tax breaks, research and development funding and other forms. According to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, in 2021 alone, the U.S. federal and state governments provided $11 billion in subsidies to the auto industry. These subsidy policies not only distort the level playing field in the market, but also exacerbate global trade imbalances.

Be at the end of one's forbearance! The United States may punish Chinese companies, but we have not yet counteracted, and the US high-level has begun to seek a way out!

However, when China adopted moderate subsidy measures to combat climate change and promote the development of new energy vehicles, the United States turned a blind eye to its own approach, and instead rashly imposed high tariffs on Chinese products on the grounds of "unfair competition". Such double standards and bullying are completely contrary to the WTO's principles of fairness, impartiality and non-discrimination.

It is worth pointing out that the U.S. practice of "long-arm jurisdiction" over China not only harms the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises, but also seriously undermines the orderly operation of the global industrial chain. The rapid rise of Chinese electric vehicle companies in the global market not only reflects the strength of Chinese manufacturing, but also promotes the sustainable development of the global new energy vehicle industry. However, the United States' approach of bringing narrow geopolitical interference into the economic and trade field will undoubtedly hinder the progress of the global green travel industry.

Be at the end of one's forbearance! The United States may punish Chinese companies, but we have not yet counteracted, and the US high-level has begun to seek a way out!

Behind the new U.S. tariffs on China's electric vehicles is its consistent hegemonic mentality and unilateralist approach. As a responsible major country, China has always adhered to the concept of openness, inclusiveness and cooperation, and is committed to maintaining the stability and smoothness of global industrial and supply chains. In contrast, the U.S. approach will undoubtedly harm the long-term interests of global industrial development. We call on the US government to abandon the outdated Cold War mentality, abide by the WTO's principle of fairness, jointly promote the healthy development of green and low-carbon industries, and work together to address climate change and other common challenges for all mankind. Only in this way can we achieve the sustainable development of human society.

Thankfully, Chinese EV companies don't rely too much on the U.S. market, so the tariff restrictions don't have much of a real impact on Chinese companies. On the contrary, some European and American car companies may be hit by this. After all, China has become an indispensable part of the global electric vehicle supply chain, and Chinese companies have taken the lead in the world in core technologies such as batteries and motors. Once excluded from the electric vehicle market, local U.S. automakers may become the biggest victims of this trade war.

Be at the end of one's forbearance! The United States may punish Chinese companies, but we have not yet counteracted, and the US high-level has begun to seek a way out!

We are deeply unhappy with this, but we are currently restrained and unwilling to escalate the trade dispute. However, if the United States continues to implement discriminatory policies against China's electric vehicle industry, China will have to take corresponding countermeasures to defend its legitimate rights and interests. Taiwan has been a part of China since ancient times, and the Chinese Government has the determination and ability to safeguard national unity and territorial integrity. We expect the U.S. government to abandon its paranoid unilateralism and work with China to jointly safeguard the economic development and prosperity of the two countries and the world.
