IT Home reported on May 15 that Google officially released the Android 15 beta version of the operating system at the 2024 I/O developer conference in the early hours of this morning, and vivo announced that it became the first batch of smartphone manufacturers to adapt to the Android 15 beta version.

vivo has completed the developer adaptation version of Android 15 beta version on vivo X100 and iQOO 12 models to help more developers get early access to the new Android version features.

Note: The initial version of vivo Android 15 Developer Preview is only for developers, and is highly recommended for ordinary users.

Vivo X100 Phone Android 15 Beta Known Issues:

1. Some third-party applications have compatibility issues

2. Some functions in the settings cannot be used

3. The UI display of some interfaces is abnormal

4. The system has a low probability of restarting

5. The picture of the album is abnormal

iQOO 12 Phone Android 15 Beta Known Issues:

1. Probabilistic camera crashes

2. Probabilistic SIM card problem after upgrade

3. Some third-party applications have compatibility issues

4. Some functions cannot be used in the settings

5. The UI display of some interfaces is abnormal

Upgrade Steps:

(1) Download the vivo X100 or iQOO 12 developer preview software package firmware.

(2) After the device is connected to the computer, switch the USB settings of the mobile phone to file transfer mode, and copy the downloaded software package firmware to the root directory of the mobile phone storage.

(3) Follow the above steps and click the upgrade package in Settings -> System Management and Upgrade -> System Upgrade -> Upgrade Settings -> Local Upgrade, and start the upgrade after the verification is completed.

(4) Wait for the automatic upgrade of your phone to complete.

vivo Android 15 Developer Preview Update Program:

On May 15, 2024, the vivo developer preview will be launched based on Android 15 Beta 1;

Before the official release of Android 15, vivo will continue to update the Android 15 beta version.

After the official release of Android 15, vivo will remove the developer preview version.
