The Xiejiawan School Project in Jiulongpo District, namely Xiejiawan School in Jiulongpo District, is planned to be completed in May 2024 and is currently undergoing decoration and environmental landscape construction.
The project started construction in June 2022, covering an area of about 136 acres and a total construction area of about 110,000 square meters. It plans to enroll a total of 102 classes of students in kindergarten, primary and junior high schools, with a planned enrollment of about 4,560 students.
According to Jiulongpo news, on March 22, 2022, Jiulongpo District issued the "Opinions on Promoting the Collectivization of Primary and Secondary Schools", which clarified that Chongqing Xiejiawan School is the main school of Xiejiawan Education Group, and Xiejiawan Primary School, Western Science City Campus, and Xiejiawan Jinmao Primary School are integrated with it.

It is understood that the Western (Chongqing) Science City Xiejiawan School, the project is located at the intersection of Gaoteng Avenue and Xinzhou Avenue in Jinfeng District, the project covers an area of about 52,000 square meters, with a total construction area of about 110,000 square meters, with 36 classes of primary school and 18 classes of junior high school, which is a nine-year school.
The school project is scheduled to be completed for 510 calendar days.
It is understood that on December 1, 2023, the foundation pit and earthwork contract of the project was officially signed, with a construction period of 90 calendar days.
The publicity period of the winning candidates for the main construction of the project is from March 1, 2024 to March 4, 2024, that is to say, the project has entered the main construction stage and is expected to be completed and put into use next year.
