In 1924, the warlord Feng Yuxiang staged a "Beijing Coup" and drove Pu Yi and his party out of the Forbidden City.
Even if he has no power, Pu Yi is still surnamed Aixin Jueluo.
At that time, the various factions were complicated, Japan's ambition to invade China was constantly expanding, and the identity of the emperor of the previous dynasty made Pu Yi a hot sweetheart in the eyes of the Japanese.
They needed a justifiable reason to provide a breeding ground for their aggression, and Pu Yi was the obvious choice.

After discussion, the higher authorities sent the publishing house Li Wenda and Pu Yi to jointly sort out the manuscript into a book, and "The First Half of My Life" was born.
The book was widely acclaimed, and the publisher paid Pu Yi and Li Wenda handsomely, which was a happy thing, but the conflict about the book erupted more than a decade later.
In 1983, an Italian film and television company wanted to make a film called "The Last Emperor" based on Pu Yi, and hoped to obtain the authorization of the autobiography "The First Half of My Life" as the filming material.
Generally speaking, after the death of the husband, his property should be inherited by his wife or children, and Pu Yi had no children in his life, so this inheritance was naturally transferred to Li Shuxian's name.
The licensing of "The First Half of My Life" has not been negotiated due to the distribution of remuneration.
But at this time, Li Wenda appeared, claiming that he also owned the copyright of the book, and strongly supported the idea of the Italian film and television company, and even later became a consultant for the film.
Upon its release, the film won numerous awards. But soon after, Li Shuxian sued Li Wenda in court, she believed that the book should belong to Pu Yi, and she, as Pu Yi's wife, should inherit everything about the book.
But Li Wenda privately authorized it to a film and television company, which seriously infringed on his rights and interests.
Pu Yi's identity is special, and the copyright dispute over "The First Half of My Life" has attracted widespread attention.
Some people believe that many of the contents at that time were dictated by Pu Yi, and then verified and sorted out by Li Wenda according to the data, which was the joint effort of the two, so the copyright of this book should have Li Wenda's share.

And Li Shuxian's health is no longer the same as before, she died of lung cancer shortly after the lawsuit ended, and she only had the book for a year.
Li Shuxian has no children, and the copyright of "The First Half of My Life" has changed hands again.
This time, it became the ownerless property of the state, and although Pu Yi's relatives applied to the court several times for the book, they were not the legal heirs of Li Shuxian, and no amount of hard work was in vain.
Li Shuxian's feelings for Pu Yi seem to be always so erratic, and the meager love between the two seems to be full of calculations and concealment.
