Our task is enormous. I only hope that the revolution will succeed soon and that the imperialist Kuomintang will be completely overthrown!
Now that we are new to the Red Army, we must wash away all the bad ideas and habits that we had in the White Army before, which were all obstructive to the revolution.

03 Now I understand!
At half past six o'clock in the evening of 14 December, we used extremely courageous means to completely eliminate the reactionaries -- one division commander, two brigade commanders, two regiment commanders, and five or six regiment commanders. At that time, I personally, because I was the commander-in-chief's bodyguard, of course, I also participated in the riot. Although my chief officer did not tell us clearly, from his words and deeds, he could always think about this action, and it must be in the path of light! Sure enough, when it was night, it was clearly announced. "We want to be the Red Army of the workers and peasants!" That's a rough picture of what we're doing.
The riots in Ningdu are, to my own words, a very common thing, and it is also a natural trend of social trends. Because the masses of workers and peasants have become discouraged and disappointed with the reactionary rule of the Kuomintang! The revolutionary ideas of the Communist Party pointed out the way out for the workers and peasants. Rioting and joining the Red Army was also our only way out, so our action was inevitable.
Personally, when I lived in school for the first three years, I was a member of the Kuomintang, and I was introduced by Communist Party comrades to read many communist books, and I used to enthusiastically support communism. Later, because of the strong reactionary forces in the north and the fierce anti-propaganda, they became suspicious of the Communist Party. After coming to Jiangxi, I still tried to investigate, and only now do I understand. Reactionary propaganda is indeed buying short and selling short. ★ Ma Delin, year of birth and death unknown, was a soldier of the Special Service Company of the 26th Route Army of the National Revolutionary Army, joined the Red Army after the Ningdu Uprising, and was incorporated into the Red Fifth Army.
★ Zhang Qingyun (1906-1935), whose name is Guorui, was originally from Luanzi Village, Quzhou County, Shanxi Province. He joined the Communist Party of China in March 1926. In the winter of 1929, with the consent of the organization, he went to Sun Lianzhong's army as a flag officer. After the Ningdu Uprising, he joined the Red Army and was incorporated into the Red Fifth Army Corps. He participated in the Fourth and Fifth Anti-"Encirclement and Suppression" campaigns in the Central Soviet Region and the Long March of the Central Red Army. On March 14, 1937, he died in battle near Shiwo in Qilian Mountain, Sunan County, Gansu Province. At the time of his death, he was the director of the Political Department of the 30th Division of the 88th Army of the Red West Route Army

The 3rd Army of the Red Army concentrated in Zhangpu and the 15th Army of the Red Army concentrated in Nanjing to carry out the agrarian revolutionary struggle in depth, set up revolutionary committees in various villages, set up committees for the division of land, carried out the registration of land and population, and the evaluation of the grade and composition of the land. Mass organizations such as peasant associations, women's associations, youth leagues and children's leagues.
The Red 14th Army cleared out the remnants of bandits in southern Jiangxi and western Fujian and swept away the enemy's occupied points.

The head of the Eastern Bloc held the city of Jianning with the 43rd Regiment of the Red 15th Division and the Red 7th Army Corps; The 1st and 9th Red Army Corps and the 45th Regiment of the 15th Division, relying on the positions around Mayuan Bridge and Tongyuan Bridge, resisted the southward advance of the enemy's 8th Column; The main force of the Red 5th Army Corps held its position east of Jianning City and stopped the enemy's 10th column from advancing westward from the front.
In the morning, the enemy's 10th Division moved north from Jiangjiadian and the 88th Division attacked Xueshangu from Wuzhenling to the south. The Red 34th Division tried its best to block and assault the enemy, and the 44th Regiment of the Red 15th Division defended the Hedong Fortress. The enemy bombarded the positions of the Red Army with howitzers and small artillery, and the fierce battle lasted until 18:30, when the 44th Regiment withdrew to the north bank of the river and destroyed the bridge, holding it by the river; The 45th Regiment engaged in a fierce battle with the enemy at the Tongyuan Bridge, killing and wounding the enemy. The 34th Division retreated in the direction of the county town with its back to the west of Changji Shui, and retreated to the areas of Huangzhoufang, Taxiashan, Dongshan, Baixianzhuang and Nanbaishi Mountain near Jianning City, where the Snow Mountain was occupied by the enemy. In the evening, the 15th Division withdrew to its original position and prepared to drive to Jianning tomorrow. After withdrawing from the battle, he did not go to Jianning and prepared to transfer to Anyuan.
The Red 13th Division garrisoned Shangpingtou. Division Commander Chen Bojun and Political Commissar Song Renqiang went to Bakouqiao, Yangmeizhai and other positions to inspect the enemy's situation and terrain, and decided to use the first battalion to occupy the Yangmeizhai Heights as the main fulcrum, and our assault team was to assemble in a concealed position near Lijiakeng, so as to lose no time in carrying out a counter-assault on the attacking enemy. In the evening, report to Peng Dehuai and Yang Shangkun about the planned battle plan.
The 15th Regiment of the 43rd Red Division was still garrisoned in Jianning City.
