ITTF Week 20 Rankings: Chen Meng ranked second, and German table tennis giants will enter the top ten, with the top three rankings

On May 14, the official website of the ITTF announced the world rankings for the 20th week of 2024. Last week there was the Saudi Grand Slam. Those who have achieved good positions will change their rankings.

Let's start with the men's singles world rankings.

Wang Chuqin won the men's singles championship at the Saudi Grand Slam, scoring 2,000 points and ranking first with a total of 8,625 points. Fan Zhendong ranked second with 5,228 points. Malone was third with 4,685 points. Liang Jingkun ranked fourth with 4280 points. F. Lebrun was fifth with 3,377 points. Lin Gaoyuan ranked sixth with 2,975 points. Lin Yunru ranked seventh with 2,931 points. Hugo was eighth with 2,635 points.

In the Saudi Grand Slam, Liang Jingkun, Lin Gaoyuan, and Ma Long are all second-round tours. Lin Yunru is a round of tours. Fan Zhendong reached the third round (round of 16), and F. Lebrun reached the fourth round (quarterfinals).

Germany's Francesca won the men's singles runner-up at the Saudi Grand Slam, earning 1,400 points and reaching a total of 2,560 points, moving up seven places to No. 9 and entering the top 10. Zhang Benzhihe slipped one place to rank tenth.

Lin Shidong finished in the top four at the Saudi Grand Slam, adding 700 points to reach a total of 1,880 points, rising four places to 11th place.

Qiu Dang entered the top eight at the Saudi Grand Slam, but the world ranking dropped two places to 12th. Zhang Yuzhen entered the top four of the Saudi Grand Slam and rose seven places to 13th in the rankings.

Ocharov, Assal, Darko, Carlberg, Marcos, Aruna and Hayasuke Togami ranked 14th to 20th, respectively.

Let's take a look at the women's singles rankings.

Sun Yingsha won the women's singles runner-up in the Saudi Grand Slam, adding 1,400 points, and the total points reached 9,200 points, continuing to rank first. Chen Meng won the women's singles championship at the Saudi Grand Slam, with a total of 6,410 points, rising two places to second place. Wang Manyu in the second round, slipped 1 place to rank third. Wang Yidi slipped one place to fourth.

Hina Hayata, Chen Xingtong, Shin Yubin, and Zhang Benmei are ranked 5th to 8th respectively. Ito entered the top eight of the Saudi Arabian Grand Slam women's singles and moved up one place to ninth in the world rankings. Szokos slipped one spot to 10th.

Diaz, Zheng Yijing, Miu Hirano, Mittram, Tian Zhixi, and Yang Xiaoxin ranked 11th to 16th respectively. Qian Tianyi entered the top eight of the Saudi Arabian Grand Slam, and the world ranking rose eight places to 17th.

Bruna. Takahashi, Han Ying, Polkanova, and Yuan Jianan, ranked 18th to 21st, respectively. Kuoman ranked 25th.

Finally, look at the doubles rankings.

In the Men's Doubles rankings, Fan Zhendong/Wang Chuqin ranked first, and Zhang Yuzhen/Lin Zhongxun ranked second. Ma Long/Wang Chuqin, who won the Men's Doubles title at the Saudi Grand Slam, moved up 10 places to No. 3.

In the Women's Doubles rankings, Tian Zhixi/Shen Yubin ranked first, Chen Meng/Wang Manyu ranked second, Chen Meng/Wang Yidi ranked third, and Wang Manyu/Sun Yingsha ranked fifth.

In the Mixed Doubles rankings, Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha are ranked first, Hina Hayata/Tomokazu Zhang are second, and Lim Zhongxun/Shin Yubin are third. Mixed Doubles runners-up Wong Chun Ting/Du Hoi Kim jumped three places to fourth.
