The opening ceremony of the 2024 season of the FILA KIDS Diamond Cup Junior Tennis Challenge Beijing Station launched by Beijing China Open Sports Promotion Co., Ltd. was recently held at the Diamond Court of the Beijing National Tennis Center.
FILAKIDS Diamond Cup, as a core sub-brand event carefully created by China Net, has been expanding its scale, number of participants, scope and influence since its inception in 2021. This year's Diamond Cup has been upgraded again while maintaining a high-quality tournament organization. The event will be promoted through a new schedule system, from the city competition, regional competition, and finals to be held in multiple locations. Among them, the regional competition and the finals will still maintain the CTJ-B600 and B800 levels. The tournament will be held in Beijing, Dalian, Chengdu, Xiamen, Nanjing, Shenzhen, Qingdao and other cities, with more than 2,000 players expected to participate.
The first to be held at the National Tennis Center was the first regional tournament in Beijing (CTJ-B600), including the men's and women's singles matches in the U10 and U12 categories. In the future, the Diamond Cup will also organize a series of tennis activities for young people through the Diamond Community. In addition, the 2024 Diamond Cup will be linked with the China Open, and the champions of the U10 and U12 categories of each regional competition will have the opportunity to become the 2024 China Open hand-in-hand caddies, while the winners of the 2024 Diamond Cup regional U14 groups will be eligible for the 2024 China Open ITF Youth Wild Card Tournament, so that the participating players will have the opportunity to climb the highest hall of Chinese tennis and experience the charm of tennis from an early age.
The 2024 China Open ITF Junior Tour (J300), the highest-level ITF junior tennis tournament in China, will be held at the National Tennis Center from September 29 to October 6. At that time, we look forward to witnessing the wonderful performance of Chinese junior tennis players in the international arena. After the opening match, the 2024 Diamond Cup Junior Tennis Challenge will land in several cities to meet junior tennis players across the country.
