In the early 50s of the last century, Lu Shuzhen, a native of Huaide County, Jilin Province, worked as a midwife in a private clinic called "Shoushan Hospital" in Gongzhuling Town (now Gongzhuling City).
In the spring of 1951, Lu Shuzhen's colleague Liang Guiqing acted as a matchmaker and introduced her to a man named Li Dan. After half a year of contact, in the autumn of the same year, Lu Shuzhen and Li Dan got married.

On July 7, 1952, Pan Yufang, a midwife from Shoushan Hospital, was invited to the home of Li Dan and Lu Shuzhen in Sandao Street, Hebei Province, to deliver the baby to Lu Shuzhen. Lu Shuzhen had a difficult birth during childbirth, and the pain was unbearable, and Pan Yufang had to inject her with oxytocin. When the baby is born, it is already purple all over. This baby is Li Hongzhi. According to the elder Pan Yufang, Li Hongzhi was no different from other babies when he was born.

Not only that, Li Hongzhi, who graduated from junior high school, his elementary and junior high school teachers and classmates have never seen anything special about him. If there is anything special about it, it may be that he has once left a grade.

Li Hongzhi played trumpets and worked as a waiter in the army, and after changing jobs, he relied on the connections of his father-in-law Li Zhenzhong to work in the security department of the Changchun City Grain and Oil Company.

In 1984, Li Hongzhi was hospitalized with appendicitis. Li Yingjie, the attending physician who performed the appendectomy on Li Hongzhi and vice president of the Jilin Provincial People's Hospital, recounted the diagnosis that year, and proved that it was his wife Li Rui who signed the consent form for Li Hongzhi.

In order to make money in the tide of "qigong fever" in the 90s, Li Hongzhi lied that he had to be superior to Dafa at the age of 4 and had great magical powers at the age of 8, and finally boasted that he was the "Lord Buddha of the Universe" many times higher than Sakyamuni and Jesus. Step 1: Participate in a qigong class.
In 1988, Li Hongzhi first learned "Zen Secret Gong" with Li Weidong, and then followed Yu Guangsheng to learn "Nine Palace Bagua Gong". At that time, Yu Tiechun, a "Zen Esoteric Gong" practitioner, and Li Hongzhi's early "Falungong" collaborators, Song Bingchen, Li Jingchao, Liu Fengcai, and others, could all testify.

At the beginning of 1989, Li Hongzhi cobbled together a set of exercises based on these two exercises and began to spread them on a small scale in Changchun City's Shengli Park and Monkey Mountain. In 1991, Li Hongzhi was suspended without pay.
Step 2: Go to Thailand to "learn Buddhism and learn scriptures".
From May 1991 to March 1992, Li Hongzhi went to Thailand to visit his second sister Li Ping, where he came into contact with Buddhism, Thai dance, and the cult organization "Lingxian Zhen Buddhism," thus laying the foundation for his fabrication of "Falungong."
According to Li Ping's husband at the time, Mr. Sun Senlun, when Li Hongzhi was in Thailand, he went to the temple to observe when he had free time, and even brought back some pamphlets from the stalls, including Lu Shengyan's "Lingxian True Buddha Sect." Li Hongzhi later mixed the heresies he learned from the school, such as "the end of the world," "special functions," and "saving sentient beings," into "Zhuan Falun."

Step 3: "Make a Buddha" out of the mountain.
In April 1992, with the assistance of Li Jingchao, Liu Fengcai, and others, Li Hongzhi improved the "exercises and movements," and the "five sets of exercises" were preliminarily finalized, and compiled the "exercises and lectures," of which Liu Fengcai made more than 70 revisions to the "exercises and exercises."

The "Dharma Image" of Li Hongzhi's lotus meditation, which was widely circulated on the Internet, was forged with the help of his early disciple Song Bingchen. At that time, they bought yellow costumes from the store, and after Li Hongzhi put them on, he took a photo of meditating in the square of the Changchun Geological Palace, and Song Bingchen spliced the photo of Li Hongzhi into a lotus petal paper-cut, and then painted the Buddha light behind it, and then connected it into a "Dharma statue" with the Buddha's light.

Step 4: In the name of qigong, swagger and deception.
In September 1992, Li Hongzhi asked people to squeeze "Falungong" into the Chinese Qigong Scientific Research Society and became a practice directly under it.

On 30 July 1993, Li Hongzhi instructed Li Chang, a backbone member of the "Falungong," and others to carry out activities in various places and establish the "Falungong Branch of the China Qigong Research Association."
In December of the same year, Li Hongzhi's "Chinese Falungong" (revised version) was published, and thus the "exercises and movements" of "Falungong" basically took shape.

As of 31 December 1994, Li Hongzhi had held a total of 54 "Falungong" training courses in Chinese mainland under the name of "qigong cultivation," each lasting seven to 10 days, with a total of more than 100,000 trainees. Each person charged a fee of 30 RMB, 50 RMB or even 100 RMB per person. Through the training course alone, Li Hongzhi illegally amassed more than 284 yuan.

Step 5: Tamper with the birthday to become the "Lord Buddha".
In September 1994, Li Hongzhi changed his birthday from July 7, 1952 to May 13, 1951, and re-applied for his ID card, in order to make himself more like a "Buddha"!

May 13, 1951 in the Gregorian calendar, which happens to be the eighth day of the fourth month of the lunar calendar, is the day of the birth of the legendary Buddha Shakyamuni Buddha. It can be seen from this that in order to cling to the Buddha, Li Hongzhi can be described as scheming!
However, at the same time, this has also exposed the ugly nature of Li Hongzhi who has no lower limit in order to achieve his goals. Think about it carefully, Li Hongzhi's parents met in the spring of 1951 and got married in the autumn of the same year, so how did they give birth to his illegitimate son on May 13? In order to deify himself, Li Hongzhi did not hesitate to disobey his parents and disregard the names of his parents.
Through this series of maneuvers, Li Hongzhi's "Falungong" has ceased to be a "hodgepodge" and has become "Falun Buddhism," and he himself has been elevated from a so-called "qigong master" to "the only Buddha who can lead people to a higher level."
However, countless believers who have been bewitched by him have not really been taken to a "high level" by him, but because they have gone to the point of no return for destroying families, mutilating lives, and endangering society.
Hu Guangying, a retired worker in Shanghai, died of a skin disease called scabies, and her youngest grandson suffered from the same ailment, which was cured with only 3 yuan of ointment.
Ma Jianmin, a retired worker from the North China Oilfield, believed that "Master" Li Hongzhi had installed a "Falun" on his abdomen, and used scissors to disembowelment to find him, but he died in time for treatment.
Li Ting, a junior high school student in Hebei, felt that "my parents are demons, I am a Buddha, so I will get rid of their two demons" and killed his biological parents with a sharp knife.
……
All of these people were "Falungong" obsessive, and they were all killed by the "Lord Buddha of the Universe" Li Hongzhi and his "Falungong" fallacies.
As the nature of the "Falungong" cult became more and more apparent, in December 1996, "Falungong" was deregistered by the China Qigong Scientific Research Society. In 1997, the Buddhist Association of China pointed out that "Falungong" is "a foreign way attached to Buddhism." On July 22, 1999, the Ministry of Civil Affairs issued the Decision on Banning the Falun Dafa Research Society. On the same day, the Ministry of Public Security issued a "six-point circular" prohibiting "Falungong" from engaging in illegal activities. On 29 July 1999, the Ministry of Public Security issued a warrant for Li Hongzhi's arrest. Li Hongzhi hurriedly absconded overseas.
It is said that Li Hongzhi, who claims to have great magical powers, has been hiding on a hill in New York State in the United States, living in seclusion, and is closely guarded by security guards.
