Hebi Investment Group, formerly known as Hebi Financial Development Company, was established in August 1988 with a registered capital of 50 million yuan and is under the management of Hebi Finance Bureau. During the period of the company's name changed many times, in 2009 Hebi City integrated resources to form the investment group, with a registered capital of 1.65 billion yuan, and the city state-owned asset management operation center to implement "a set of institutions, two brands", with the qualification of enterprise legal person and public institution legal person, in accordance with the management of public institutions, enterprise operation. In April 2017, the Economic Investment Group and the Municipal State-owned Asset Management Operation Center were separated from the sequence of public institutions, and managed and operated in accordance with the enterprise. In October 2019, it was officially renamed Hebi Investment Group Co., Ltd.

The investment group has 4,111 employees. There are a total of 129 subsidiaries under the holding company, including 42 wholly-owned enterprises, 49 holding or relative holding enterprises, 38 shareholding enterprises, and 20 second-level subsidiaries under direct management.

From the end of 2017 to the end of 2023, the total assets of Hebi Investment Group increased from 13.271 billion yuan to 41.689 billion yuan, a growth rate of 214.14%. Net assets increased from 7.969 billion yuan to 16.329 billion yuan, a growth rate of 104.91%. The total financing amount is 33.788 billion yuan, the operating income is 12.930 billion yuan, the profit is 1.396 billion yuan, and the tax payment is 1.355 billion yuan.

  • On April 17, Yin Peng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shandong Guohui Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd., was "double-opened";
  • On April 14, Yang Zhencheng, member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of Huizhou Communications Investment Group Co., Ltd., general manager and secretary of the Party branch of Huizhou Communications Investment Mining Co., Ltd., was investigated;
  • On April 10, Feng Liujiang, former secretary of the Party committee and chairman of Guangxi Investment Group Co., Ltd., was investigated;
  • On April 12, Wu Chunjiang, member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of Huizhou City Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd., was investigated;
  • On April 2, Zheng Huixing, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and general manager of Huizhou Communications Investment Group Co., Ltd., was investigated;
  • On April 1, Zeng Yuning, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Wuxi County Urban Construction (Group) Company, was investigated;
  • On March 29, Yu Huawei, former member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of Anhui Investment Group Holdings Co., Ltd., was investigated.
