Song Weilong introduced that the "China Tianjin Huangyaguan Great Wall International Marathon Tourism Event" was founded in 1999 and has been successfully held for 20 sessions, with more than 50,000 runners from more than 100 countries and regions participating in the event, of which the number of participants in 2019 reached a record high, with more than 4,000 participants. Over the past 20 years, the Huangyaguan Great Wall Marathon has been expanding its influence in the world and has become an important activity of the International Marathon Association.

This year's 21st China Tianjin Huangyaguan Great Wall International Marathon will be held on May 18, attracting nearly 3,000 marathon enthusiasts from more than 20 countries and regions, including full marathon (42.195 km), half marathon (21.0978 km) and short marathon (8.5 km). Among them, the distance through the village is about 30 kilometers, involving a total of 6 villages, including Xiaoping'an Village, Huangyaguan Village, Shipaogou Village, Duanzhuang Village, Qingshanling Village, and Daodaoyu Village. At present, the underground camp town has formulated a thorough marathon route sanitation guarantee plan, the marathon along the road stones, potholes and debris piled on both sides of the road to clean up, on the day of the race along the line set up volunteers and cheerleaders, so that participants in the experience of the marathon full of passion and enthusiasm at the same time, enjoy the vicissitudes of the ancient city of Xiongguan, beautiful mountains and valleys, pleasant pastoral scenery and simple village customs, fully feel the unique cultural charm of northern China and the strong folk customs of Jizhou. The medals will be distributed on a ready-to-arrive basis, and the participating teams will be evacuated in batches after the competition.

In terms of event service guarantee, the organizer has set up one supply station every 3-5 kilometers in accordance with the international standard of the marathon, and a total of 16 supply stations have been set up along the line, and each supply station prepares supplies such as water, energy drinks, fruits and nuts. In terms of service guarantee, we coordinated the power supply branch and four telecommunications companies, including China Unicom, China Mobile, China Telecom and China Tower, to ensure the smooth power supply and communication at the event site and along the line, and built a sunshade net in the stands of Huangya Zhengguan Square, with the south side of the stand as a rest area for the contestants and their accompanying families, and the east and west stands as the storage area for the contestants and the rest area for media reporters and staff. A display and sales area for Tianjin and Jizhou special products was set up on site to exchange RMB in advance to facilitate the purchase of souvenirs by foreign guests.

In order to do a good job in the safety and security of the event, the Jizhou District Emergency Command Center and the on-site command center established a linkage mechanism, sorted out 23 channels of surveillance video, combined online and offline, and carried out full-time and full-road monitoring and inspection of the race route. In conjunction with the meteorological department, we will analyze and judge in advance, release meteorological information and safety tips every day from May 16, and study and judge the weather conditions every 3 hours on the day of the competition, focusing on weather conditions, wind direction, wind speed, temperature and other data, and in case of bad weather, the circuit breaker mechanism of the event will be activated at any time. 8 firefighting and forest rescue vehicles were arranged along the track, a total of 60 people from the forest defense professional team of the District Forestry Bureau and the semi-professional team of Xiaying Town, and 20 people from the Tianjin mobile team of the National Fire and Rescue Bureau were invited to station in front of the station to jointly do a good job in forest fire prevention and on-site rescue work during the competition. There are 6 medical aid stations along the track, with 3 medical staff at each station, a total of 18 medical personnel, equipped with defibrillators and other medical equipment, 4 ambulance points, and 12 medical personnel. Xiaying Hospital is set up as a medical security hospital, and the District People's Hospital is a designated hospital. During the guarantee period of the event, the Ping An Jizhou Blue Sky Rescue Team was dispatched, and it was planned to dispatch 45 people to form 15 groups of rescue teams, carrying 2 stretchers, 10 emergency ambulance kits, 15 walkie-talkies, and 1 task support vehicle to fully escort the safety of the event.
In order to ensure the smooth progress of the event, the traffic police detachment of the Jizhou Branch of the Public Security Bureau has conducted many inspections on the competition route and the surrounding key road sections in advance, and more than 130 capable police forces will be dispatched during the event to implement "one policy all the way" and "one policy one point" on the roads, road sections and intersections involved in the event, scientifically arrange police forces, and do a good job in the precise control of traffic diversion. Relying on the traffic police detachment's big data combat center, strengthen the video inspection and traffic analysis of the surrounding areas and major diversion sections of the track, mobilize police forces to relieve traffic congestion in a timely manner, quickly deal with road traffic accidents along the competition, coordinate Internet map enterprises to do a good job of traffic guidance synchronously, and guide citizens to make reasonable travel arrangements. In terms of traffic control, traffic control announcements will be issued in advance through new media platforms such as "Pocket Jizhou" and "Jizhou Traffic Safety" as soon as the control situation is determined, reminding the general public to plan their travel routes in advance.
