Notice of temporary traffic control on some roads
From 19:30 to 22:30 every day from May 16 to 19, 2024, large-scale mass activities will be held at the Strait Olympic Sports Center Stadium. In order to ensure the safe and smooth flow of surrounding roads during the event, in accordance with Article 39 of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, it was decided to implement temporary traffic control on some roads from May 16 to 19. The notice is as follows:
1. During the admission and performance period from 17:00 to 21:30 every day, traffic control will be implemented on Dongling Road (Fuwan Road to Panyu Road) according to the situation, and motor vehicles (except work vehicles) and non-motor vehicles will be prohibited; The northbound Dongling Road ramp and southbound Dongling Road ramp from south to north on the Fuwan Elevated Highway will be temporarily closed depending on the situation.
2. During the withdrawal period from 21:30 to the end of the event every day, traffic control will be implemented on Dongling Road (Fuwan Road to Panyu Road), and motor vehicles (except for work vehicles) and non-motor vehicles will be prohibited, and diversion measures will be taken on peripheral roads as appropriate; Implement traffic control on Dongling Road (Yangqi Road to Fuwan Road) according to the situation, prohibiting motor vehicles (except work vehicles) and non-motor vehicles; The northbound Dongling Road ramp and southbound Dongling Road ramp from south to north on the Fuwan Elevated Highway will be temporarily closed depending on the situation.
3. The entrance passages of Gates 6, 7, 8 and 9 of the Strait Olympic Sports Center are temporarily closed, and motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles are prohibited from passing.
During the above road control period, restricted vehicles should detour in advance according to the traffic signs set up on the surrounding roads, and pass in an orderly manner according to the instructions of the traffic commander. Please arrange the travel time and route in advance for social units and people from all walks of life, and please choose the subway and bus as much as possible to participate in the event.
