After a light rain, there was still a hint of humidity in the air, and when the reporter met Yang Jinsong, a villager in Yanglin Village, Xiaowu Township, Xiaochang County, he was driving his own excavator with several villagers to level the newly planned parking lot in the village.
Yang Gaoliang, secretary of the village party branch, told reporters that the site was originally a barren slope with piles of debris. With the improvement of living standards, many villagers bought cars, and parking gradually became a problem, and the village decided to build a new parking lot.
The construction of the parking lot is part of the work of Yanglin Village to create a better environment and a happy life. Since the launch of the co-creation, as long as the villagers put forward reasonable needs, after the village co-creation council discussed and reached a consensus, it can be promoted immediately.
The improvement of human settlements can not only promote the construction of beautiful villages, but also improve the degree of rural civilization. Through environmental remediation, some haphazardly built cowsheds, chicken coops and dilapidated old houses in Yanglin Village have been demolished and cleaned up.
"Through the joint creation of the council to do ideological work, some people can't figure it out, so we go to the house many times to get the idea through. In the past, there were more chickens and cattle in the village, and there were shacks built indiscriminately everywhere, but after the environmental remediation, more than 90% of them have now been demolished. Yang Gaoliang said.
Villager Xiao Shuangling is 58 years old and lives in a group of Yanglin Village. She still remembers the scene of the village meeting held before. "The two village committees and cadres stationed in the village always use the leisure time or rainy days to gather everyone together and listen to the opinions of the masses."
The two committees of Yanglin Village and the team stationed in the village adhere to the guidance of party building, and in accordance with the standards of "sweeping clean, neat yards, smooth roads, planting more trees, maintaining normalcy, and promoting harmony", they adopt the assessment method of "daily supervision, weekly evaluation, monthly notification, quarterly training, and annual evaluation", which has won unanimous praise from the villagers.
While actively cooperating with the demolition of illegal and dilapidated houses, the villagers also started from the front of their own houses and actively carried out the renovation of greening in front of and behind the houses.
"We have all spontaneously done a good job of sanitation and greening in front of and behind the house, which used to be dirty and messy, not good-looking, but now the village is clean and tidy, the village is beautiful, and it looks pleasing to the eye and is much more comfortable." Xiao Shuangling, a villager in Yanglin Village, said.
The joint creation cannot be seen by the cadres and the masses, but by the cadres and the masses working together. Yang Gaoliang told reporters that Yanglin Village had walked out of Liu Zhen and Yang Huanmin, two founding generals, so in deepening the work of joint creation, the two village committees skillfully used the "red driving force", as long as the party members and cadres took the lead, there was nothing that could not be done.
"The participation of the masses is getting higher and higher, mainly driven by our party members and village cadres, and there are some retired old cadres, who are also actively participating and leading." Yang Gaoliang said.
A beautiful environment and a happy life are created together, paving the way for the construction of beautiful countryside and laying the foundation for industrial revitalization.
In recent years, Yanglin Village has established a village-level joint-stock economic cooperative, on the one hand, it integrates the industrial resources in the village, guides the original characteristic industries such as tea and pearl cabbage to make steady progress, and on the other hand, introduces and develops the cultivation of edible fungi to broaden the channels for villagers to increase income.
With the development and growth of the village collective industry, Yanglin Village has built a mechanism for the interest connection between the village collective economy and farmers, so as to realize the win-win and common prosperity situation of "the collective drives the individual and the individual maintains the collective", and promotes the diversified and benign development of the village collective economy.
"In terms of industrial development, we use cooperatives to connect farmers with farmers, and villagers can invest in capital and land, and also provide them with jobs. Let the people get rich together, which is also a joint creation. Yang Gaoliang said.
