According to statistics, since the beginning of this year, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge border inspection station has inspected and released an average of 69,900 inbound and outbound passengers per day, an increase of 56% compared with the average daily inspection and release volume in 2023.

In addition to accelerating the interconnection of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, the role of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge in connecting the domestic and international "dual circulation" is also becoming increasingly prominent. Over the past five years since its opening, the cross-border logistics of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge has ushered in high growth, with a total of more than 1,910,700 trucks entering and exiting through the Zhuhai Highway Port, of which 184,900 have reached this year, a year-on-year increase of more than 20%, and 7.39 times that of the same period in 2019.
According to the border inspection department, the border inspection system of the 44 trolley passages at Zhuhai Highway Port has been optimized and upgraded many times, increasing the maximum hourly traffic of unilateral passenger cars at the port from 440 to 1,100, and will continue to innovate in highly convenient customs clearance in the future.
