The on-site drill simulated the fire incident caused by the damage to the house caused by the earthquake in Yangzonghai No. 1 Middle School, which caused damage to the circuit on the B1 floor of the No. 1 teaching building, and all departments of the school urgently carried out "safe evacuation and emergency rescue". As the school alarm sounded, the emergency evacuation drill officially began. Yang Zonghai No. 1 Middle School Party members and pioneers immediately organized the students in the classroom to evacuate safely, starting from the lower floor class, all students covered their mouths and noses with wet towels, bowed their heads and bent over, shifted their center of gravity downward, did not panic, listen to the command, move fast, no pushing, within 5 minutes, 1500 students and more than 100 teachers and staff were evacuated to safety in an orderly manner.
After the safe evacuation, the relevant personnel of Qidian Health Center carried out first-aid skills teaching to teachers and students on the spot, carried out "Heimlich first aid" and cardiopulmonary resuscitation operation demonstrations, and improved the ability of teachers and students in schools in the jurisdiction to prevent disasters and avoid dangers, self-help and mutual rescue through popularizing first-aid skills. Subsequently, the fire rescue brigade explained the correct use of fire extinguishers for all teachers and students and carried out operation demonstrations, in order to improve the awareness and prevention and control ability of teachers and students and logistics, security and other staff, more than 10 people such as school security, kitchen staff, teachers, and students took turns to carry out practical operations.
Li Shaowen, the leader of the district, said that the drill was well organized, properly commanded, and responded quickly, and achieved the expected goal.
