Of course, since it was a meeting, everyone must have discussed it together, but the general reprimanded it loudly, no matter how he looked at it, he didn't take into account Nie Shuai's face, fortunately, Nie Shuai endured it for a while, but it was only for a while, and then he turned around and left, obviously breaking up unhappily, what happened during this period? Who is this general?
1. Guo Tianmin's achievements
At the 1955 award ceremony, many generals were awarded titles, they were awarded generals, lieutenant generals, etc., but there were as many as 60 generals whose hometown was Hong'an, Hubei, among which General "Guo Tianmin" was one of them, and he was the one who did the opposite with Nie Shuai.
However, after the founding of the People's Republic of China, Guo Tianmin was awarded the rank of general, which shows that his contribution is only a lot more.

It was in Ganzhou at that time, Guo Tianmin was originally going home and passing by, and he was lucky to meet the Red 4th Army, since they were a large revolutionary army, Guo Tianmin would naturally join it with revolutionary aspirations, and when he was in Jinggangshan Division, Guo Tianmin also became an important member of the Jinggangshan Red Army.
During the Red Army, Chairman Mao called Guo Tianmin a "blacksmith", but he really wasn't an ironsmith before, he was a poor peasant, so why did Chairman Mao call him that?
This has to go back to Guo Tianmin's temper, he is not lacking in a ruthless person, and he is straightforward, and his temper is also very short-tempered, of course, in the Red Army troops, they are all big men who can't feel it, and they need to be full of enthusiasm for the revolution.
When gunshots rang out in any place, Guo Tianmin and other Red Army soldiers fought wherever they went. However, Guo Tianmin is full of fighting spirit, but there are many soldiers in the ranks, and there will always be people who are not very courageous, but it does not mean that their revolutionary enthusiasm is not strong, after all, entering the Red Army is an important step.
In this case, Guo Tianmin will not tolerate it, he can only say that he will make corresponding punishments according to his priorities, and it is useless for anyone to persuade him.
In this way, Guo Tianmin, who was more ruthless in this way, was familiar to Chairman Mao, and then there was the saying of "blacksmith". It can be said that Chairman Mao is also mentioning him, and after a certain amount of criticism, Guo Tianmin also understands the importance of unity, and he will naturally change some shortcomings, but the character of saying something is his true color.
Speaking of merits, I have to mention that during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, when I took Niangzi Pass, Guo Tianmin led the order to attack Zhengtai Road, and the right column under his main command thought about beating Niangzi Pass after he received the order, so that Guo Tianmin's raid began.
He first sent a part of his troops to sneak in at night, and then unknowingly dealt with the puppet army.
It can be said that the foundation was laid for the laying of Niangzi Pass first, and then after the fierce attack, the soldiers of the Eighth Route Army did not flinch at all, even if they braved the powerful fire attack of the Japanese army, the soldiers still rushed to the enemy's fortress.
After three hours, they finally succeeded in taking it. It's just that Guo Tianmin's command is not over yet.
The Japanese troops will naturally have reinforcements, but Guo Tianmin knows the advance and retreat, after the occupation, he first took the railway bridge that would not be destroyed, and then a large number of wires were also harvested under his command, of course, the Japanese army could not leave the fortress fortifications in Niangziguan, and when these works were completed, their purpose was achieved, and then they withdrew.
In this way, Guo Tianmin not only has the fighting spirit of the revolution, but also has considerable ability and contribution.
Second, Guo Tianmin's violent temper
It's just that Guo Tianmin is a violent temper and speaks mercilessly, and it will backfire when he meets a more stable person like Nie Shuai, so Guo Tianmin's temper comes up against Nie Shuai, and all he can wait for is unhappy.
At the beginning, we said that they held a meeting on the issue of defeat, so that the discussion and lessons learned could speed up the process of the revolution, but when it came to accountability, there was a big difference between what Nie Shuai and Guo Tianmin thought.
On the one hand, Nie Shuai put the reason for the failure on many people, and they were a collective, so in the end, Nie Shuai finally decided that all of them should be punished.
On the other hand, Guo Tianmin thought that it was mainly Nie Shuai's problem, and he also specifically pointed out the mistakes in the strength and command, so it can only be said that the two have great differences, coupled with Guo Tianmin's temper, it is certain that the two will break up unhappily.
Since the problem that the two can't solve, it can only be handed over to the organization, so that it can be better handled. In the end, Mr. Zhu could only be sent to help Nie Shuai lead the team well and get on the right track, while Guo Tianmin was dismissed.

3. Why choose Chen Geng?

Although Chen Geng and Guo Tianmin are only two years apart, Chen Geng came out of the first phase of the Whampoa Military Academy, and Guo Tianmin is the sixth phase.
