According to CCTV military reports, the South China Sea Theater has recently suddenly dispatched a multi-type main combat ship training formation headed by the 055 Daqi, the 052D Haikou ship, the 052D Kunming Jianjian and the 054A Xianning ship. This formation will soon conduct "actual combat" training in the South China Sea, and the subjects of the training will mainly include naval operations, air defense and anti-missile defense, and anti-submarine warfare.
Judging from the content of the operation, the PLA's target is not only the Philippines, but also the US military. In other words, the actual combat training this time is aimed at the US military, which has "flexed its muscles" in a high-profile manner and warned them not to act rashly, especially the "Roosevelt" aircraft carrier, and it is best not to run in front of the PLA formation to provoke, otherwise the live ammunition carried in actual combat will not know where it will be fired.

Not to mention other islands and reefs, just looking at the 055 drive docked on Mischief Island, as well as the Y-20 strategic transport aircraft, the Air Police-500 campaign and tactical early warning aircraft, and the air-submarine-200 large electronic warfare/anti-submarine aircraft, it is more than enough to sweep a Philippines.
Now that the Philippine economy is in a stage of regression, it is very unwise to fight a war in such a situation, especially against a military power like China, which will not only result in defeat, but also a more severe economic recession.
