According to Article 2 of the Several Provisions on Family Planning Incentives and Subsidies in Shanghai, spouse paternity leave shall be used continuously during the maternity leave period and shall be extended accordingly in case of statutory holidays.
Suppose the spouse takes spousal paternity leave from 3 June 2024.
Spouse paternity leave: June 3 - June 13, 2024 (under normal circumstances, the 10-day paternity leave should end on June 12, but during the Dragon Boat Festival (June 10, 2024), there is a 1-day statutory holiday, so it will be postponed by 1 day.) ）
How is the salary calculated during paternity leave?
According to the Regulations of Shanghai Municipality on Population and Family Planning and the Provisions of Shanghai Municipality on Family Planning Incentives and Subsidies, spouse paternity leave shall be used continuously during the maternity leave period and shall be paid according to the salary due to the person's normal attendance.
