Xinping Village, as a resettlement village in the province rebuilt after the 7.22 earthquake in 2013, was relocated from Min County, Dingxi City to Beiwan Town, Jingyuan County, built in 2014, and began to move in August 2015. Over the past 8 years, Chen Yonghong has always adhered to the original intention and mission of a young grassroots cadre in the new era, adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and led the people of Xinping Village from poverty alleviation to rural revitalization.
When they first moved here, the masses had no industry. Together with the team of the "two committees" of the village, he built a diversified industrial system of enriching the people based on solar greenhouse planting and sheep breeding, supplemented by poverty alleviation workshops, photovoltaic poverty alleviation and labor export, and realized the goal of "moving out, staying stable, and getting rich" for the immigrant masses, and embarked on a demonstrative-led road to a well-off life. Take the lead in overcoming the idea of "fear, laziness, and reliance", take positive action, and decide to demonstrate the planting of 6 solar greenhouses, with an investment of more than 100,000 yuan, from late March to May 2017, 6 greenhouses will achieve an income of more than 30,000 yuan in 3 months, realizing the fundamental transformation from rain-fed agriculture to intensive farming of modern agriculture, so that the villagers can see that they can develop greenhouse vegetables, and see the direction of development and the hope of getting rich.
In the three years from 2017 to 2019, a total of 585 solar greenhouses were built in batches of 83, 302 and 200, and the coverage rate of solar greenhouses in the village reached 97%, laying a solid industrial foundation for the masses to get rid of poverty and become rich. From 2017 to 2023, he won more than 5,000 yuan in various project funds for Xinping Village, built 5 village-level comprehensive service places, hardened 20 kilometers of roads, built 90 kilometers of canals, and built a total of 585 solar greenhouses and 320 pergolas, with an average annual output of more than 30,000 catties of cucumbers per greenhouse, and an increase of more than 50,000 yuan per greenhouse, truly realizing that "everyone has an industry, and every family can get rich".
In order to solve the problem of difficult cucumber sales, he decided to change his thinking, improve quality and efficiency, take the road of branding, sustainable and high-quality development, take the road of extending the integration of primary, secondary and tertiary industries in the agricultural industry chain, and take the road of developing the collective economy and improving the sales system to drive the masses to benefit from dividends. As a result, Chen Yonghong took the lead in establishing Jingyuan Xinfuzhong Vegetable Trading Co., Ltd., building a model of "company + cooperative + farmer", and opening up a stable and sustainable development for the whole village to get rich.
Some people are reluctant to plant greenhouses, in order to meet their breeding wishes, I coordinated to strive for funds of 3.6 million yuan, built more than 12,000 square meters of standardized farms. At present, the average annual income of households is expected to be more than 50,000 yuan. At the same time, poverty alleviation workshops were developed to solve the employment problem of some left-behind women. Actively connecting the photovoltaic poverty alleviation projects has achieved results, bringing an annual income increase of about 2,000 yuan to poor households and a collective income of more than 350,000 yuan to the village. Actively connect with the surrounding engineering construction project department to export more than 3,000 labor services to promote local employment and income increase of poor households.
