Recently, the Imaging Department of Guizhou Provincial Compulsory Drug Rehabilitation Hospital (hereinafter referred to as the Provincial Drug Rehabilitation Hospital) organized medical police to successfully carry out the first enhanced CT case since the upgrade of a secondary hospital, which provided accurate imaging diagnosis for a primary liver cancer patient, and provided an important reference value for the identification of benign and malignant diseases and the follow-up treatment of diseases.
The main advantages of enhanced CT include accurate diagnosis of lesions, increasing the clinical diagnosis rate, finding small lesions, reducing missed diagnoses, better judging vascular diseases, assisting in the staging of tumors, and guiding clinical treatment plans. Since the successful upgrade of the secondary hospital put into use, the Provincial Drug Rehabilitation Hospital has carried out nearly thousands of CT non-contrast examinations, and the successful expansion and enhancement of CT examination technology is an important progress in the refinement of imaging diagnosis and the expansion of the field of examination, which greatly improves the detection rate of diseases and the positioning, qualitative and quantitative diagnosis level of lesions, and provides more extensive and accurate diagnosis and treatment information for clinical practice to the greatest extent, which is of great significance for improving the level of diagnosis and treatment technology, discipline development and ensuring medical safety.
