After the US warships sailed through the Taiwan Strait, two mainland formations were dispatched, and the "Kinmen mode" may be extended to the entire strait

The US destroyer USS Halsey sailed through the Taiwan Strait on 8 May, and the PLA's Eastern Theater dispatched naval and air forces to maintain surveillance and vigilance over the entire voyage of the US warship. On May 10, the ship continued to trespass into China's Xisha territorial waters, and the PLA Southern Theater drove it away. In three days, Chinese and US warships appeared in two sensitive waters, playing the role of agitating "Taiwan independence" and the Philippines respectively, and demonstrating the military presence of the US military. What is incommensurate with the US military's display of its presence at sea is the rust on the gun barrel of the Halsey and the messy debris on the deck, and the relevant details show the inadequacy of the US side in terms of logistics support. The increasingly overstretched US industrial system is bringing to an end the period in which the US has flaunted its military might at sea.

The US warship's voyage through the Taiwan Strait is regarded by the "Taiwan independence" forces on the island of Taiwan as a reliance for self-comfort. However, the mainland is also taking substantive actions to crack down on "Taiwan independence" and promote the process of reunification. At present, mainland coast guard ships are carrying out routine patrols in the waters of Kinmen. In less than half a month since May, the mainland coast guard has released five times the content of patrol law enforcement in the waters of Kinmen. The bridge connecting Kinmen's Daan Island and Erdan Island "exits" in the cruising picture of the mainland coast guard ship. The five-star red flag on the coast guard ship is framed in the same frame as Kinmen Island.

The Taiwan authorities call the 8,000-meter area south of Kinmen a forbidden area, and the 8,000 to 10,000-meter area a restricted area. At present, mainland coast guard vessels routinely approach a 3-nautical-mile radius around Kinmen to enforce the law against incoming and outgoing vessels, which has collapsed the foundation of the Taiwan authorities' so-called concept of prohibiting and restricting waters. On May 9, the mainland further implemented law enforcement work in the waters of Kinmen. A total of 12 vessels from various departments such as the coast guard and the coast surveillance department set up scenarios around the collision accident at sea and carried out a drill in the waters of Kinmen.

12 ships divided into two formations and sailed into the waters of Kinmen from different directions. According to some analysts, a similar pattern of maritime law enforcement may spread to the entire Taiwan Strait in the future. As a cross-strait frontier area, Kinmen is closer to the mainland than to the island of Taiwan. During the period of cross-strait military exchanges of fire before the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States, the Kinmen artillery battle played a role in continuing China's civil war and maintaining the "one-China" framework through firefighting. During the period of relaxation of cross-strait relations after the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States, Kinmen played a role in maintaining the path of cross-strait personnel exchanges and promoting cross-strait connectivity. At a time when the situation in the Taiwan Strait is at a time when the risk of conflict is intensifying due to Pelosi's visit and Lai Qingde's victory, Kinmen is playing a leading role in the reunification of the two sides of the strait. The law enforcement work of mainland coast guard vessels around Kinmen provides experience for subsequent law enforcement in the Taiwan Strait near the coastline of Taiwan Island.

The mainland section of the Xiamen-Jinmen Bridge from Xiamen to Kinmen is under construction, eighty percent of the trestle bridge has been laid, and dredging and pile foundation work are underway. Represented by the different night scenes of Xiamen and Kinmen, the people of Kinmen have witnessed and witnessed the development and construction of the mainland, and it is the area with the least resistance to the reunification of the Taiwan region. At present, it is also becoming a frontier area for the substantive reunification of the two sides of the strait, and on the basis of connecting water with the mainland, Kinmen is promoting the work of connecting the mainland with electricity, gas, and bridges, and seeks to integrate into Xiamen's living circle. The Taiwan authorities are an obstacle to Kinmen's integration into the mainland's development system.

At present, the mainland is taking action in various ways to promote reunification. In addition to carrying out routine law enforcement, fishery protection and dredging work in the waters of Kinmen, the mainland continues to enrich the content of the cross-strait integrated development demonstration zone, with Fujian Province as the frontier area to undertake the northward migration of people from the island. Fujian Province has recently introduced 13 new policies in three areas to facilitate the integration of Taiwan enterprises and Taiwan compatriots into mainland society.

Ma Ying-jeou, Fu Laiqing, and other people on the island have visited the mainland to promote cross-strait consultations, clarify the common cognitive foundation of the two sides of the strait, and consolidate the cross-strait political consensus of the '92 consensus. At the same time, the Fujian completed its first sea trial from 1 to 8 May, witnessing the construction of the mainland's naval strength and further strengthening military control in the Taiwan Strait.
