May 12 this year marks the 16th National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day. On May 11, the county disaster reduction committee organized a concentrated publicity activity with the theme of "everyone stresses safety, everyone will respond to emergencies - strive to improve the ability of grassroots disaster prevention and avoidance" in the south square of Sanxian Lake Park in the county seat, and the amphibious vehicle made its debut at the event site.
At the event site, all member units popularized disaster prevention and mitigation knowledge and related laws and regulations, natural disaster prevention and self-rescue methods to the masses by setting up knowledge display boards and distributing publicity materials, and answered the disaster prevention and mitigation questions that the masses were concerned about face-to-face.
During the activity, an emergency drill for flood fighting, rescue and rescue was also carried out in the waters of Sanxian Lake. The assault boats and amphibious vehicles participating in the exercise shuttled back and forth on the lake to complete the scheduled subjects, which further tested the regularization and scientific ability of our county's emergency rescue work.
