In order to further improve the efficiency of services for the disabled, we have implemented various policies to benefit the disabled, and continuously improved the care service system for the disabled. Recently, the Municipal Disabled Persons' Federation has carried out screening and certification services for suspected disabled persons.
A total of 87 suspected disabled persons were screened out during the screening work, and 45 suspected disabled persons needed to provide door-to-door certification services. After the screening work is completed, the Municipal Disabled Persons' Federation, orthopedic experts from the Municipal People's Hospital, and full-time members of the township (street) disabled persons will form a door-to-door disability assessment and certification working group to go deep into the homes of suspected disabled persons for assessment. Up to now, 38 bedridden and disabled people with difficulties have been assessed at home, and disability certificates have been applied for eligible disabled persons.
It is understood that the assessment of suspected disabled persons is mainly for suspected disabled persons with limited mobility, bedridden, unable to walk and poor self-care ability. Through active door-to-door and active services, we will reduce the inconvenience caused by the application and assessment of the disabled people, so that the disabled can quickly and effectively apply for the disability certificate, so as to facilitate their enjoyment of various policies for the disabled in the future, so that the disabled can truly feel that "there is speed in handling affairs and warm services".
In the next step, the Municipal Disabled Persons' Federation will continue to strengthen cooperation with relevant departments, increase the construction of a barrier-free environment, truly provide more convenient, accurate and warm livelihood services for the disabled people in need, open up the "last mile" of services for the disabled, so that the disabled can travel with love and apply for permits without "obstacles", and effectively improve the sense of gain, happiness and security of the disabled.
