Specifically, Ford's Ford and Lincoln 2 brands recalled a total of 26,454 vehicles, accounting for 93.95%. Among them, Ford recalled 15,281 Edge L and Mach-E electric vehicles.

The recall of 14,883 units of Edge L is due to the fact that the electronic parking brake motor may be short-circuited due to manufacturing reasons, resulting in the electronic parking brake not being activated or disengaged. The company will replace the electronic parking brake motor free of charge for the vehicles within the scope of the recall through authorized dealers to eliminate potential safety hazards.

The recall of 398 Mach-E electric vehicles is due to the overheating of the main relay due to the design and parts of the main relay of the high-voltage distribution box of the power battery, causing the relay to stick or disconnect abnormally. In extreme cases, it can cause the vehicle to fail to start or lose power while driving. The company will replace the power battery high-voltage distribution box for free for the vehicles within the scope of the recall through authorized dealers, and upgrade the power control module and battery control module software to eliminate potential safety hazards.

Lincoln is recalling 11,173 imported MKZs and domestically produced Navigator vehicles. Among them, the recall of 1,776 imported MKZs is due to the fact that the base of the claw spring adjustment plate of the vehicle's door latch may break after a long period of use, resulting in the door being unable to be locked; or locked doors, which may unlock while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk of injury to occupants. The company will check the production date code of the door latch for the vehicles covered by the recall free of charge, and if it is a defective batch, replace the four door latches to eliminate the safety hazard.

Another 9,397 domestic Navigators were recalled due to the fact that due to manufacturing reasons, the electronic parking brake motor may be short-circuited, resulting in the electronic parking brake not being activated or discharged. The company will replace the electronic parking brake motor free of charge for the vehicles within the scope of the recall to eliminate potential safety hazards.

Porsche announced that it will recall 1,590 imported Taycan series electric vehicles from the date of the announcement. The reason for the recall is that a short circuit may occur inside the vehicle's high-voltage power battery module, which may lead to thermal runaway of the battery module in extreme cases.

The company will test the high-voltage power batteries of the vehicles within the scope of the recall, and if there is an abnormality, the abnormal battery module will be replaced free of charge to eliminate potential safety hazards. Until the recall measures are implemented, users are advised to limit the charging capacity to less than 80%.

Jaguar Land Rover will recall 113 imported 2019 Jaguar I-PACE pure electric vehicles from the date of the announcement. The reason for the recall is that the vehicle's power battery may cause a short circuit inside the battery cell due to manufacturing reasons, causing thermal overload. In extreme cases, it may lead to a fire in the power battery.

The company will replace the power battery pack for the vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge, or repurchase the vehicles to eliminate potential safety hazards. Users can choose one of the two schemes, the vehicle buyback will be implemented from now on, and the replacement of the power battery pack is expected to be implemented from November 1, 2024.
