Time flies, time flies, we have fought side by side in our military careers, and we have experienced many unforgettable moments together. Now, although we are going our separate ways, we are no longer confused, but the deep comradeship-in-arms will always be engraved in our hearts. In order to strengthen the ties between us and relive the past eventful years, the 5th Comrades-in-Arms Association of the 65th Regiment of the 13th Division of the Railway Corps of the Chinese People's Liberation Army gathered in Wuxi in May 2024 to welcome all old comrades-in-arms to Wuxi, Jiangsu.
The purpose of this gathering is to provide a rare opportunity for everyone to gather together again to recount the bits and pieces of their military careers and share their life experiences and insights. We believe that on this special occasion, we will be able to feel the deep comradeship and military years again.
Once, shoulder to shoulder, arm in arm, you went through that period of hardship and glory of the railway soldier career together. During that period of time, we struggled together, worked hard together, paid youth and sweat for the construction of the country and the smooth flow of the railway.
Today, to get together again is to reminisce about that good time and share each other's growth and changes. Let us welcome every comrade-in-arms present with warm applause and thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to participate in this gathering.
At the beginning of the meeting, all the comrades-in-arms stood up and sang the "National Anthem".
At the meeting, Fei Jiahua, the Wuxi representative of the organizing committee and the secretary general of the Xidong Veterans Association, delivered a welcome speech, followed by a speech by the company leader Peng Jixi.
Subsequently, Yu Qiang, the leader of the comrades-in-arms of the 65th Regiment of the 65th Regiment of the 13th Division of the Railway Corps, made a speech.
In their speeches, the leaders said: Comrades-in-arms, no matter where they go or what they experience, that military feeling and comrade-in-arms will always be our most valuable wealth. Let's move forward hand in hand and create a better future together!
During the event, according to the arrangement of the conference group, we visited Wuxi Scenic Area (Lingshan Giant Buddha, Yuantouzhu); China's first village (Huaxi Village) and other attractions.
Through the visit, the comrades-in-arms were deeply educated and enlightened, and felt that the trip was worthwhile.
At the end of the meeting, all the comrades-in-arms stood up and sang "Railway Soldiers and Soldiers are Determined in All Directions".
