At nine o'clock in the morning, the earthquake alarm sounded, and the teachers of each class immediately organized the students to enter the state of earthquake emergency evacuation. The children quickly grabbed their heads and got under the desks to avoid the "first wave of shock".
Five minutes later, the alarm went off again. The teachers of each class quickly organized the students to escape from the classroom, and under the guidance of the teachers at each point, they quickly evacuated to the playground, main road and other "safe" areas according to the predetermined evacuation route. Teachers count the number of students and report to the school in a timely manner.
After the drill, Jiang Dechao, secretary of the party branch and principal of the school, summarized the emergency safety evacuation drill, praised some of the classes that performed well in the drill, and criticized the problems of a small number of children in the class who did not escape in time and did not standardize the protective actions. The teachers and students of the whole school are required to tighten the safety chord of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction at all times, change "drills" into actual combat, effectively enhance the awareness of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction, emergency avoidance, and improve the ability to respond to sudden natural disasters.
It is reported that in order to carry out this safety evacuation drill, the school has held a working meeting of the school committee, the teachers' union and the class teacher, formulated a detailed implementation plan, clarified the evacuation route and the guide personnel for the escape and evacuation at each point, and ensured the safety of the students throughout the escape.
