In this fast-paced, high-pressure modern life, having a little world of your own is undoubtedly the dream of many urbanites. At the age of 31, I have chosen an unusual way of life – living alone. My world is housed in a cosy one-bedroom apartment of 45 square meters, which is not only my safe haven, but also the confidence that I will not get married.
Living alone, for me, is a declaration of freedom. I can be myself here to my heart's content, without compromise, without compromise. From the decoration style of the house to the furnishings in every corner, every detail reveals my personality and taste. From the color of the walls and the style of the furniture, to the lighting in the living room, the fabric of the sofa, and even the small ornaments on the table, everything is carefully selected by me, and each one carries my story.
My home is the sustenance of my emotions and the pillar of my spirit. It has witnessed my growth and accompanied me through the ups and downs of life. Living alone means I can live at my own pace, enjoy the silence at any time, and party at any time. I can make a glass of red wine at midnight and sit quietly in front of the window and watch the neon lights of the city flicker; It can also be done early in the morning to wake up to the first rays of sunlight and start the day.
The choice not to get married made me cherish the time I spent with myself even more. This 45-square-metre one-bedroom apartment is more than just a living space, it is an extension of my inner world and a statement of my independence. Here, I can present myself freely without worrying about the gaze and evaluation of others.
