The decoration has chosen a minimalist style, and the overall feeling is atmospheric and comfortable. However, the location outside the balcony is a little awkward, less than two meters away from the aisle of the community, and people come and go, always feeling as if they are in a transparent box, lacking the sense of privacy and security they deserve. This feeling of being "watched" all the time is indeed a sad thing that I did not anticipate when buying a house on the first floor.
The bay window in the master bedroom was supposed to be the perfect place to enjoy the tranquility and views, but unfortunately due to its location on the first floor, it became a hidden danger to be constantly watched. Nowadays, I almost always have to close the curtains in my room, because you never know when a passerby will pass by the window and peek into your private space. This insecure state makes the bay window, which should be quiet and comfortable, a little awkward and inconvenient.
The only thing I won't regret is my kitchen! The kitchen is super large, I simply moved the dining table directly into the kitchen, and it didn't look crowded at all!
The bathroom is also very embarrassing, outside the window is the green belt of the community, some naughty children often hang outside the window, every time they go to the toilet are scared, hey!
The second bedroom is also quite spacious, if it is not on the first floor, it is actually very good to live!
The smallest room is made of tatami mats, which is usually used as my husband's study, and when guests come, it is used as a guest room.
At first, I was attracted by the large and spacious courtyard that I was gifted, and I was full of hope to turn it into a charming courtyard garden. Unexpectedly, however, the upstairs neighbors used it as a convenient place to dump garbage. Instant noodle boxes, kitchen waste, fruit peels, ...... Almost every kind of garbage you can think of is thrown away, so I have to be busy cleaning up the yard every day. I was so tired of this kind of trouble, and even attracted the reproach of my family, who blamed me for choosing a first-floor house for coveting tens of thousands of yuan and a large yard.
The experience of living in this half year has made me deeply regretful, and such regret has made me feel painful. I swear that in the future, no matter what, I will never choose a first-floor house again.
