On May 11, the first labor skills competition for teachers and students of primary and secondary schools in Ziliujing District was held in Chengdu Foreign Chinese School, Zigong, which opened the prelude to the labor skills competition of teachers and students of primary and secondary schools in the city.
With the theme of "Unity of Knowledge and Action, Labor Education", the competition aims to further study and explore the ways and means of in-depth implementation of labor education in primary and secondary schools, sow the seeds of love for labor in the hearts of teachers and students, firmly establish the concept of the most glorious, noble, greatest and most beautiful labor, and promote the all-round development and healthy growth of students' morality, intelligence, physical fitness, art and labor. The competition is divided into housekeeping, handicraft, cooking, and gardening groups, and the first, second, and third prizes will be awarded in different sections and in the categories of teachers and students, and the outstanding teams will participate in the municipal finals.

Choose vegetables, wash vegetables, cut vegetables, arrange condiments, and put the washed vegetables into the pot to cook...... The players concentrated and cooperated, and after a while, the fragrance spread in the arena.
On the other side of the field, the contestants in the housekeeping, handicraft, gardening and other groups also opened their posture and displayed their labor skills in an orderly manner. The scene is not only a competitive arena, but also a practice field for teachers and students to establish labor concepts, learn labor skills, show labor wisdom, cultivate labor quality, and cultivate labor spirit.
In recent years, Ziliujing District adheres to labor education as an important part of "Lide Shuren", deeply excavates the advantageous resources of labor education, and has 18 primary and secondary schools in the district with on-campus labor education bases, 4 provincial and municipal labor education topics under research, and a total of 10 kinds of characteristic labor education courses such as farming culture, traditional crafts, and maker technology. "In the next step, we will further intensify labor education, promote the formation of a long-term mechanism for collaborative education in labor education, cultivate students' innovative thinking, enhance students' hands-on ability, continuously improve the level of labor practice characteristic education, and cultivate new people of the era of national rejuvenation."
