The Premier League entered the final stage, and Manchester City, who still hoped to compete for the title in the 37th round, took the lead and won the opponent by 4 goals away, which is one step closer to the Premier League's fourth consecutive hegemony. Everton beat Sheffield United 1-0 in their final home game of the season. Luton Town lost 3-1 at home to West Ham United and relegation was only a numerical possibility. Bournemouth lost 2-1 to Brentford. Crystal Palace in the Premier League continued their strong late-season run with a 3-1 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers. Tottenham thrashed Burnley 2-1 to knock the promoted side back into the Championship. Nottingham Forest lost 3-2 to Chelsea and are still unofficially relegated.

Fulham 0-4 Manchester City

Manchester City, who are one point behind leaders Arsenal but have played a game less, made their debut away to Fulham, and the "Blue Moon" maintained an excellent head-to-head record, winning 16 of them in 18 meetings without a defeat. Manchester City's elite is at its best, with Haaland, who started the last round of the "big four", and De Bruyne, Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva supported from behind.

City's most threatening attack in the first half came not from leading goalscorer Erling Haaland, but from two goalkeepers, with Gvardiol cutting in on the 13th minute and colliding with Kevin De Bruyne, the Croatian international who didn't get up to speed and then dunked across the bar for a better angle. Before half-time, Manchester City had a golden opportunity to extend the score, De Bruyne crossed from the left, Akanji went unattended, but unfortunately rose high in the six-yard box to maintain a one-goal lead at half-time.

However, Ebereki Eze picked up Michael Olise's straight-line pass in the 73rd minute and twisted past the goalkeeper to shoot in to open up a two-goal advantage again. Even if Crystal Palace had Naviru Ahmeda expelled in the final stages of the game, it would not have hindered the victory until the end.
