In the face of the epidemic, she did not hesitate to support nucleic acid testing, shelter hospital rescue and other work, and made every effort to protect people's lives and health.
In clinical work, Ran Hong always adheres to the service tenet of "everything is patient-centered, everything is for patients", and takes care of patients' oral health with her own love, carefulness and sense of responsibility. In order to ensure the efficient development of diagnosis and treatment and improve the medical experience of patients, on the basis of solid theoretical knowledge of oral care, she fully grasps the steps of each oral treatment and the standardized use of instruments, understands the working procedures and habits of each doctor, and better assists doctors in carrying out diagnosis and treatment services. Since joining the Department of Pediatric Stomatology in Shangqing Temple of the hospital in 2014, Li Xia has not only kept improving in clinical technology, but also continuously innovated in nursing concepts, and guarded people's oral health with heart, affection and strength in ordinary positions.
Li Xia is well aware that oral care is not only a simple cleaning and auxiliary treatment, but also requires a high degree of professional knowledge and fine operation skills. With the strong support of the hospital, she actively participates in oral care seminars to learn the latest nursing concepts and techniques. At the same time, the nursing team of the department was organized to develop an innovative saliva suction tube (wave plate suction tube, BBT saliva), which can not only protect the child's tongue, but also help the child reduce dental anxiety. The project has successively won the third place in the Chongqing Health System Five Elementary School Innovation Exhibition, the Chongqing Five Small Innovation Exhibition Outstanding Project Exhibition and Report Excellence Award, the first prize of the Oral Care Innovation Case of the Chongqing Stomatological Association Academic Annual Conference, and the special prize of the China (Western) Oral Care Competition Hand-in-hand Oral Specialty Nursing Innovation Case Competition, etc., with broad prospects for clinical application.

"Every patient who walks into the office is unique, and they need not only technical treatment, but also spiritual comfort." In her daily nursing work, Li Xia practices the "patient-centered" service concept with practical actions. In the face of children who are afraid of seeing teeth, she always patiently uses gentle words and games to relieve their tension and give them meticulous care, which has been thanked by many patients and their families.
As a nurse in the hospital affiliated to the university, Li Xia also took on the task of nursing teaching secretary. Under the guidance of the hospital's nursing department, she participated in the development of a set of standardized teaching plans, covering basic children's oral care knowledge and skills, communication arts, etc., which effectively improved the teaching level of the whole team. She has won the title of "Star of Teaching and Research" of the hospital many times.
