IT Home reported on May 10 that according to a GAC Toyota press release, the 2024 GAC Toyota Highlander will be officially launched in June, and the car adopts TNGA architecture, mainly upgraded in the cockpit, adding a 12.3-inch LCD instrument, and improving the mobile phone remote control function. For comparison, the 2023 model is priced at 282,800-299,800 yuan.

In terms of appearance, the 2024 Highlander model is expected to continue the previous design, referencing the previous version, with a split air intake grille with a blacked-out mesh grille and 20-inch wheels.

In terms of the cockpit, the new car adds NAPPA leather seats, equipped with a 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster, and an 8-inch / 12.3-inch center console, with standard front USB audio ports / dual USB charging ports, in-car Bluetooth, support HiCar / CarPlay / Carlife mobile phone interconnection, and support mobile phone remote control of lights / horn / remote control of the door function.

In terms of specifications, IT Home noted that the car has a length, width and height of 4965x1930x1750mm, a wheelbase of 2850mm, a 2.5L hybrid system, a maximum engine power of 141kW, a peak torque of 238N・m, and a transmission system matched with an E-CVT gearbox; The 2WD version is equipped with a 134kW drive motor, while the 4WD version adds a 40kW rear motor to produce a combined output of 183kW.
