Normal "look back"! Baiyun Sanyuanli re-inspected the garbage classification of large supermarkets

In order to deepen the garbage classification work in the field of large-scale supermarkets in the jurisdiction and further improve the quality and efficiency of garbage classification, on May 10, the staff of the Sanyuanli Street Municipal Office of Baiyun District reviewed the garbage classification situation in Kaide Plaza in Jiyi Community. The purpose of this re-inspection is to ensure that the problems found in the previous inspection are effectively rectified, and to improve the accuracy of garbage classification in the business district and the environmental awareness of consumers.

In previous inspections, the staff found that although the awareness of merchants on garbage sorting has increased, there are still some problems in the actual operation process. These problems include that some of the waste is not sorted properly, some recyclables are contaminated, and some perishable waste is not disposed of in a timely manner. To address these issues, the municipality decided to conduct a re-inspection to ensure that all waste was properly sorted and disposed of.

The results of this re-inspection show that after a period of rectification and efforts, most of the problems found before have been effectively solved. Most of CapitaMall's tenants have significantly improved their awareness of waste separation, which has led to an improvement in the environmental quality of the mall.

However, there are still a few areas where there are some omissions in details, such as some recyclables that are not completely cleaned, resulting in ineffective recycling. In response to these problems, the municipal office will continue to strengthen publicity and education, remind merchants to pay attention to the details of garbage classification, and ensure that every piece of garbage can be disposed of correctly.

In addition, the municipal office will also work with the community management department to strengthen the management and maintenance of waste sorting facilities to ensure the improvement and operational efficiency of the facilities. At the same time, more environmental technologies and measures, such as smart waste sorting bins and incentive mechanisms, will also be considered to further encourage residents to actively participate in waste sorting.
