Walking into the Yinong Vegetable Professional Cooperative in Chenjiatuan Village, Nanlou Township, the green sweet potato seedlings came into view. A ridge of seedlings is strong and upright, and grows vigorously. Nearly 100 villagers shuttled between the ridges, busy cutting seedlings and tying bundles. Outside the shed, the villagers loaded the harvested sweet potato seedlings into trucks, and the fields were filled with the joy of harvest.
One million seedlings a day, which is the actual data of the cooperative's current harvest of sweet potato seedlings. In order to better ensure the quality of seedlings, the harvested sweet potato seedlings will be transported to the basement of 3,000 square meters in time for low-temperature storage, and successively sent to Tianjin, Henan and other large planters. Seizing the golden season of planting, the "order-type" seedling raising allowed the cooperative to sell sweet potato seedlings last year, and the small sweet potato seedlings bred a new "potato" light to get rich.

Our cooperative now has 1,800 acres of land to develop the whole industrial chain of sweet potatoes from seedling, planting to sales and processing. At present, our sweet potatoes are emerging, and the product varieties include Longshu No. 9 and Yanshu No. 25, which employ nearly 100 workers every day to harvest and send to all parts of the country.
Selling sweet potato seedlings, where do the seedlings come from? In the aseptic seedling laboratory jointly built by the cooperative and the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences last year, we found the answer. The technicians who use ultra-low temperature detoxification technology to cultivate detoxified potato seedlings cut the potato seedlings into one leaf and one stalk, and put them in the culture flask for single-leaf node propagation, so as to accelerate the growth of high-quality virus-free potato seedlings. After 30 days of multiplication in a culture flask, the seedlings can be transplanted into the greenhouse for nursery. Compared with ordinary seedlings, detoxified potato seedlings have more vigorous growth, strong disease and insect resistance, and the yield and quality have been significantly improved.
In addition to selling seedlings and raising seedlings independently, this year, the cooperative also planted more than 800 acres of sweet potatoes. In a few months' time, the sweet potato harvest will also be unfolded here. After ten years of precipitation and accumulation, Yinong Vegetable Professional Cooperative now has its own aseptic laboratory, detoxified seedling breeding greenhouse and three seed potato bases in Zhengding, Nangong and Baixiang.
In recent years, Nanlou Township has actively transformed the resource endowment into an advantageous industry for rich farmers and rejuvenating agriculture, adopting the business model of "industry + cooperatives + farmers", relying on modern agricultural science and technology, actively promoting sweet potato planting, and stringing up a large industry with small sweet potatoes. At present, the total planting area of the township is more than 7,400 acres, and the yield per mu is more than 2,700 kilograms. A development pattern of the whole sweet potato industry chain integrating seedling, planting, storage and sales is gradually taking shape, helping agricultural efficiency and farmers' income.
