On May 9th, Wuyang Honda released a warm-up video in a low-key and mysterious manner, but unfortunately the official was in a state of mind pretending to be confused and didn't want us to know too much. With that in mind, let's embark on a treasure hunt and use a variety of methods to unravel the mystery of this car.
One. Speculation
Combined with the video performance, there are currently a variety of speculations among car enthusiasts, and the corresponding models are CBR400R, CBR300R, NSP190, Fosha 160 or other models.
Under this framework, although the scope has been further narrowed, it is still confusing, because although the speculation is reasonable and well-founded, it is not necessarily completely correct, and then we need to make repeated arguments.
Two. Exclude reasoning
First of all, it is certain that this is a straddle motorcycle that is biased towards entertainment attributes, and is not a pedal model or a tool car. The fact that it is an agricultural vehicle can be ruled out from the parking position of this car, because no one's access car will be placed with a special bracket.
As for the reason why it is not a scooter, it is simpler, although this car will have a front bumper structure, and the look and feel created by the light cluster effect is also a bit similar to the Fosha series.
But its powertrain is a vertical-cylinder engine, and there will also be a noticeable external fuel tank, so the car is neither a Fosa 160 nor an ADV160. So users who like scooters can leave.
Secondly, this slightly mysterious Honda motorcycle is almost certainly not an upcoming CBR400R.
Although it will have imitation racing genes, but the two cars are obviously not the right number, judging from the information exposed in the early days, the configuration of this car will be significantly lower than the CBR400R, it not only lacks the front inverted shock absorber, but also does not have a front double disc.
What's more, Wuyang Honda will not take a false shot at a model that has been exposed and is about to be launched, if this is the case, it is not a new car warm-up, but a fool of the masses. So please believe that it is not CBR400R.
Moreover, since this car has a model prompt for NSP at the end of the video, it must be a newly developed model. So the possibility of Honda CBR300R or CBR250R will be minimal. This model is more of an entry-level imitation race independently developed by Wuyang Honda.
Here's why:
1. The model logo, the joint logo of the Honda system has long ceased to be mysterious, it is the exclusive label of the specific model of Wuyang Honda, as long as it is a new or global model designed by Honda will not use the joint standard, only the model independently developed by Wuyang Honda will hang this logo.
2. Detail setting, although the whole warm-up video has been specially processed, we were also able to capture some model characteristics, such as the semi-surround structure, split handlebars, engine radiators, upturned rear tail, etc., when these elements are combined, this slightly mysterious NSP is basically very clear.
In my opinion, this is a racing model with a sporty appearance and a certain fighting stance, and its engine displacement will be between 190~300cc, which is very likely to be a single-cylinder air-cooled model.
