ZEEKR rose more than 34% on the first day of listing
On May 11, Eastern time, Geely Holding Group's luxury electric vehicle brand Zeekr landed on the New York Stock Exchange. The opening price on the first day of listing was $26, with a maximum increase of 39.81%, and it rose 34.57% to close at $28.26 on the first day of listing.
The market value of ZEEKR once reached 7 billion US dollars, or about 51 billion yuan, making it the largest Chinese company to IPO in the United States since 2021.
Since its inception in 2021, the company has gone public in just three years. After listing, Geely will own more than 50% of the company's voting rights.
According to the prospectus, ZEEKR issued a total of 21 million American depositary shares at a price of $21 per share, raising about $441 million, and if the underwriters exercise their over-allotment rights, the issuance scale will be further expanded to 24.15 million ADSs, raising about $507 million.
