——The experimental school of Maotanchang Middle School in Lu'an City carried out the "May Fourth" theme group day activities
In order to further study and implement the socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era, inherit and carry forward the spirit of May Fourth, strengthen the ideological and moral construction of youth league members, and improve the patriotic feelings and revolutionary spirit of league members, on the afternoon of May 9, the Youth League Committee of the Experimental School of Maotanchang Middle School in Lu'an City organized the Youth League members to go to the martyrs' cemetery in western Anhui to carry out the May Fourth theme group day activities of the Experimental School of Maotanchang Middle School in Lu'an City.
After arriving at the West Anhui Martyrs Cemetery, the students visited the Dabie Mountain Revolutionary Memorial Hall, and walked into the museum, where a carved painting of the "backbone" in front of them was majestic and magnificent, which was amazing. It depicts the style of the generals who fought in Dabie Mountain, and the short relief text on the left and right walls records the number of the troops who fought in Dabie Mountain and the location of the battle. The museum takes the revolutionary history of western Anhui, the deeds of famous martyrs from western Anhui and the deeds of 108 founding generals of western Anhui as the main content, and records the important revolutionary history of different periods. In particular, the sentence on the wall, "Your name is unknown, your career is immortal", made the members deeply shocked and emotional. Everything in the museum shows the indomitable and revolutionary spirit of the outstanding sons and daughters of the Dabie Mountains, especially in the western Anhui region, in various historical periods.
The narrators in the museum spoke eloquently, sometimes tactfully, sometimes passionately, and the expressions of the students were sometimes dignified, sometimes sad, sometimes high-spirited. The students deeply realized that it is the dedication of these heroes that has led to our happy life today, and they are the loveliest people!
Memory is the deepest admiration, and action is the truest memory. This theme group day activity is not only a remembrance of the heroic deeds of the revolutionary martyrs, but also a touch on the soul of each student, and a vivid ideological education lesson for the students. Looking at the golden regimental emblem on the chest and the fluttering regimental flag, the members of the regiment were surging and their beliefs were firmer.
