5.12 International Nurses Day
In order to carry forward the professional spirit of nursing, show the style of the nurse era, vigorously publicize and carry forward the achievements of nursing work in our district and the advanced deeds, daily work and mental journey of nursing staff in clinical front-line positions, encourage the majority of nurses to base themselves on their posts, forge ahead, and enhance the value perception of nurses in the hearts of the public, on the occasion of the 113th International Nurses Day, the district health system held a commendation celebration with the theme of "Developing the Nurse Team and Optimizing Nursing Services" yesterday (May 10) afternoon. He Yinong, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Tian Li, Director of the Nursing Quality Control Center of the Municipal Health Commission, and Guo Hongyang, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, attended the event and presented awards.
The award ceremony slowly kicked off with the dance "Spring Blossoms", the sketch "Good Girl" praised the great love of nurses to serve patients carefully, and the song and dance "Thousands of You and Me" expressed the praise of thousands of medical staff who are fighting on the front line of saving lives and helping the wounded. The rich and wonderful theatrical performances vividly demonstrated the noble medical ethics and dedication of the vast number of nursing workers and medical staff in the region based on ordinary posts.
He Yinong, Tian Li and Guo Hongyang presented awards to 20 outstanding nursing managers and 50 outstanding nurses respectively. The event also held a hat awarding ceremony for new nurses and took a collective oath.
Deputy District Mayor Xu Xiangguang delivered a speech at the commendation celebration.
On-site nursing workers have expressed that they will continue to inherit and carry forward the spirit of Nightingale in the future, strive to provide more high-quality and efficient health services for the people with a high sense of responsibility and mission for nursing work, and make new and greater contributions to ensuring the life and health of the people in the whole region and promoting the construction of a healthy Jizhou.
