On May 10, in the Daqing Oilfield Oil Production Plant No. 7 Technology Research Institute, researchers are focusing on the deployment of this year's intelligent nano displacement technology application plan. Their focus is on a near-two-dimensional nanomaterial called "nano-scissors", which is at the heart of intelligent nano-flooding technology and has already achieved remarkable results in long-term trials.

"Nano Scissors" are attracting attention for their unique properties and functions. This material is not only "sharp", but also "smart". It is good at "identifying" and "holding" the remaining oil buried deep in the ground, and can also cut and peel off the oil droplets and oil film in the pores of the oil layer like "scissors", which is both accurate and efficient.

Being "small" is one of its great strengths. With a maximum length of only 80 nanometers, the Nano Scissors are able to easily pass through a wide range of oil layer pores, even in dense oil layers. This advantage also allows it to perform well in a variety of reservoir types, such as sandstone, fracture-vuggy carbonate reservoirs, low-porosity and low-permeability thin oil reservoirs, and conventional heavy oil reservoirs.

Well 63-672 is one of the earliest wells to apply this technology. Before the application of "nano scissors" in this well, the daily production of liquid was 10.7 tons, the daily oil production was 0.3 tons, and the water cut was as high as 97.2%, which was a high water cut, low production and low efficiency well, and was facing the fate of shutting down. After the application of this technology, the daily oil production reached 2.1 tons, the water cut decreased by 13%, and the cumulative oil increase reached 327 tons during the 179-day effective period, and the input-output ratio reached 1:3.3, and the "old oil well" was replaced with "new vitality".

Up to now, Daqing Oilfield Oil Production Plant No. 7 has successfully applied this technology in 34 oil wells, with a cumulative oil increase of up to 7,028 tons.

"Nano emulsion" dredges "inefficient wells"

On May 9, Tan Jingchao, director of the injection and production technology office of the Technology Research Institute of Daqing Oilfield Oil Production Plant No. 10, led technicians to the site of the intelligent nano emulsion dialysis research project under construction to deal with the problems encountered in production.

The nano emulsion dialysis technology test is one of the key technical tests in the oil production engineering of Daqing Oilfield, which is mainly aimed at some oil wells with poor crude oil physical properties and insufficient formation energy in Chaoyanggou Oilfield, and supplements the formation energy by injecting composite nano emulsion into the formation, emulsifying crude oil, changing the wettability of the oil layer rock, and effectively displacing the oil film on the surface of the gum, asphaltene precipitate and particles in the formation pores, so as to achieve the effect of reducing viscosity and removing plugging.

Tan Jingchao said that compared with other oil displacement methods, nano imbibition oil displacement agent can significantly reduce the oil-water interfacial tension, greatly reduce the driving pressure difference, and significantly improve the oil displacement efficiency. At the same time, the construction process of this technology is simple and easy to use on site, and the effect of on-site application to increase production is also obvious.

As of May 10, Daqing Oilfield Oil Production Plant No. 10 has completed the construction of 32 wells in 14 blocks of Chaoyanggou Oilfield, with an average daily increase of 3.1 tons and a daily increase of 0.8 tons of oil in a single well. After the popularization and application of this measure, it provides a new and effective technical means for the energy replenishment and tapping potential of inefficient oil wells in Chaoyanggou Oilfield.

"Nano Black Card" Increases Production and "Difficult to Recover Oil"

With the blessing of the "nano black card" plugging technology, the No. 5 Oil Production Plant of Daqing Oilfield has successfully realized the continuous increase in the production of "difficult to recover" oil in the Fuyang oil layer. As of May 10, the average daily oil increase of 54 wells in this plant was 1.4 tons, and the cumulative oil increase was 10,095 tons in three years, laying a solid foundation for the continuous production increase and efficient exploitation of the Fuyang oil layer.

Due to the small porosity and low permeability of the reservoir, the Fuyang reservoir has always been regarded as a difficult-to-recover reserve, and it is difficult to achieve ideal results by conventional development methods. In order to break through this dilemma, the No. 5 Oil Production Plant boldly tried the new technology of "nano black card" to unblock while deepening the geological understanding.

"Nano Black Card" is a new type of nanosheet material with excellent penetration, oil shoveling and emulsifying properties. During migration, it can penetrate into the rock surface, strip the oil film, and emulsify the crude oil to form an emulsion, effectively releasing the residual oil in the reservoir near the well. At the same time, it can also reduce the viscosity of crude oil, improve fluidity, and relieve the blockage of colloidal asphaltene, so as to achieve the integration of energy enhancement, blockage, and throughput.

Wang Zhipeng, deputy director of the stimulation and injection room of the Technology Research Institute of the No. 5 Oil Production Plant, said that this technology is like a "thrombolytic agent" composed of nano-scale materials, which effectively opens up the "plugging point" in the pore throat of the Fuyu oil layer, so that the reservoir can produce more liquid and oil.

After the test application of the "nano black card" plugging removal technology, the average daily oil increase of Gaofu 80-inclined 6 well reached 2.0 tons, and the cumulative oil increase was 203 tons, which has become another "star well" in this block.
