The three sages of Linwei refer to the famous general Zhang Renyuan of the Tang Dynasty, the poet Bai Juyi of the Tang Dynasty, and the famous minister Kou Zhun of the Northern Song Dynasty. In this design, two versions of the characters and scenes were designed.
The character version is mainly based on depicting the character modeling, so that the character is dressed in clothing that conforms to his representative identity and matches the utensils, so as to reflect the identity attributes of the character and highlight his unique temperament. During the design process, the whole team also consulted a large number of historical materials, and strived to restore the original historical appearance of the characters as much as possible without destroying the aesthetics of the design.
The scene version selects the most representative highlight moments in the lives of the three sages to depict them, so that the audience can have a more sense of substitution, and through the process of watching the picture, they can understand the life experience of the sages and deepen their understanding, so as to feel the history and culture and inherit the spirit of the sages.
Zhang Renyuan's design, its identity definition is "the soul of the Tang Army", and the design concept is: the ancient poem once had a cloud "A light opens to the sun." The design selected the most representative armor shape of the Tang Dynasty - "Mingguang Armor" as Zhang Renyuan's clothing shape, and with a red cloak, "Tang horizontal knife" and war horse, creating a typical image of a Tang Dynasty general.
The scene selects the ancient battlefield as a classic situation, supplemented by elements such as gunsmoke, distant mountains, and military flags, creating a sense of bleakness and sharpness in the border battlefield, and at the same time, the character dynamics are holding high the blade and standing upright, highlighting the heroic temperament of General Zhang Renyuan's heroic and fearless, righteous and awe-inspiring.
The character qualities are: heroic and resolute, loyal and tenacious.
The second is the design of Bai Juyi, whose identity is defined as "a great master of poetry", and the design concept is: the typical men's clothing of the Tang Dynasty is selected as Bai Juyi's styling, and the azure clothes highlight Bai Juyi's elegant and untainted detached temperament.
The scene selects Bai Juyi when he was 35 years old, when he went to Xianyou Temple with his friends, he sighed at the love story of Emperor Tang Ming and Yang Guifei, and when composing the famous poem "Song of Long Hatred", the character dynamics are splashing ink, composing famous articles, supplemented by flowing clouds, grass patterns and other elements, creating a dreamlike scene when the poet writes poems, highlighting Bai Juyi's romantic and lofty creative mood.
The character quality is: worried about the country and the people, and caring for the common people.
Kou Zhun's design, its identity definition is "the famous face of the Northern Song Dynasty", this is the scene version of the picture, the design concept is: the design selects the standard Northern Song Dynasty civil official costume as Kou Zhun's shape, square black official hat and flowing red official uniform, and then with the character holding a white and flawless jade plate, setting off Kou Zhun's upright spiritual quality and fiery patriotic feelings.
The scene is selected from the scene when the Liao State invaded the Song Dynasty in the first year of Jingde, and the prime minister Kou Zhun turned the tide on the court and resisted, and finally prompted the Song and Liao sides to sign the "Lanyuan Alliance". The characters are surrounded by elements such as the city, gunsmoke, military flags, geese, and the rising sun, showing Kou Zhun's loyal and unyielding heart.
