In his day-to-day work, he is mainly responsible for the daily care of patients, and nursing work is not only a simple infusion injection, but also tests the nurses' communication, organization and planning skills. "In nursing, nurses need to communicate effectively with patients, their families and doctors to ensure that patients receive the best treatment and care," Liu said. At the same time, nurses also need to develop personalized care plans according to the specific situation of patients and organize their implementation. These jobs require nurses to have high overall quality and professional skills. ”

Liu Weiqiang said that his biggest gain in his work is to be recognized by patients. He feels a great sense of accomplishment whenever he sees patients gradually recovering as a result of his meticulous care. He was once impressed by a nineteen-year-old tracheostomy patient, and since both were the same age, they quickly developed a strong friendship. On New Year's Day, the patient sent him a voice message wishing him a Happy New Year. At that moment, he felt the embodiment of the meaning of his profession, which was not only an affirmation of his professional skills, but also a recognition of his efforts and care as a nurse.

For young people who are about to join the industry, Liu Weiqiang suggested: the transition from student to professional nurse takes time, don't expect yourself to be able to handle everything professionally from the first day, he hopes that every new nurse should have patience and confidence in themselves, as long as they face difficulties with a positive attitude and improve themselves, they will definitely have gains.
