At about 8 o'clock on May 5, when Master Zhu, a resident of Chengguan Town, Baokang County, Xiangyang City, Hubei Province, was about to drive out, he suddenly found that there were traces of being turned over in the car, and four cigarettes stored in the trunk were missing.
After receiving the police, the police of the Chengguan Police Station under its jurisdiction immediately rushed to the scene to investigate. Master Zhu recalled that on the evening of May 3, after parking his car in the parking lot downstairs of his house, he forgot to lock the car door due to carelessness, and did not move the car until the morning of the 5th, when he found out that the property in the car had been stolen.

The police retrieved the video surveillance of the crime scene and found that at about 1 a.m. on May 5, two men sneakily came to the parking lot, "pulled the door" of more than ten cars one by one, and then opened the car parked by Master Zhu, opened the trunk and stole cigarettes. The police accurately studied and judged, and quickly locked the activity trajectory of Xu, a suspect from Rugao, Jiangsu.

On May 10, the police tracked down the line and rushed to Zijin Town, Gucheng County, where they were hiding, and arrested the suspect Xu and two other accomplices involved in the case, Wei and Chen, and seized 4 stolen cigarettes on the spot. After being brought to justice, the three suspects involved in the case confessed to the crime of "pulling the car door" theft. At present, the case is under further investigation.
