Nanjing No. 14 Middle School
In order to further practice the concept of the new curriculum, promote the research on the key planning project of the "14th Five-Year Plan" of Jiangsu Province "the design and implementation of 'empowering homework' in ordinary high schools focusing on the reform of education methods", and deeply explore the construction of the classroom model of "three-ring N-step student-based learning pointing to the development of literacy", guide the change of teaching behavior to promote the reform of learning methods, jointly explore the effective path to implement the development of students' core literacy, and improve the quality of school running.
On May 10th, the teaching observation and seminar with the theme of "Reducing Burden, Improving Quality and Efficiency, and Empowering Growth with Homework" was successfully held by Nanjing High School Collaborative Development Alliance and Nanjing Jiangbei New Area Education Development Center, and undertaken by Nanjing No. 14 Middle School.

A total of 23 classes were set up in this activity, covering 12 subjects in the first and second grades of high school, and outstanding teachers from Qingyang Middle School in Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province, Chengqiao Senior High School in Liuhe District, Nanjing City were invited to carry out the same class heterogeneity.
In the classroom, each teacher carefully organizes the teaching content, designs the teaching process, and creates a high-quality classroom in a real situation around the teaching theme. After the class presentation, the teaching and research team leaders of each discipline organized a course evaluation and discussion activity.
The teachers of the class reported and exchanged the teaching design and after-class thinking, the teachers commented on the classroom teaching, and the leaders of each subject of the school made summary speeches, pointing out the direction for classroom teaching.
During the event, Zhang Pingzhao, vice principal of Qingyang Middle School in Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province, gave a lecture on "Firm Confidence, Efficient Sprint, Easy Battle-Review Strategy for the Late Third Year of High School".
He introduced in detail the scientific and efficient preparation strategy for the 30-day college entrance examination from the aspects of standardized answering, score grabbing skills, and mentality adjustment. The lecture was vivid, rich in content, and precise in interpretation, with both theoretical summaries and typical cases, which provided useful pre-examination guidance for all senior high school students.
This teaching open activity presents the active exploration of teachers in the 14th middle school to build an efficient classroom, highlights the unique teaching style of teachers, and also builds a broad platform for teachers to learn and communicate, which not only achieves the purpose of exchange and learning, collaboration and common growth, but also creates a strong teaching and research atmosphere, increases the intensity of educational exchanges and cooperation, realizes the sharing of resources between schools and teachers, and further promotes the professional development of teachers.
