Fast Technology reported on May 11 that according to the official news of Hongmeng Zhixing, the cumulative mass of the M9 exceeded 80,000 units in 136 days on the market, setting a new sales record for domestic luxury cars.

The M9 was launched on December 26 last year, with extended range and pure electric dual power, with a guide price of 469,800-569,800 yuan, a size of 5230/1999/1800mm, and a wheelbase of 3110mm, positioning it as a large SUV.

The three-row, six-seat layout, with two independent seats in the second row and an aisle in the middle to facilitate the entry and exit of the third-row passengers, is built on a pure electric platform, with a flat floor and a refrigerator and even a projection screen for the car.

The biggest highlight of M9 is the use of "super strong basalt body", which is equipped with 9000 tons of integrated die-casting, the rear body, the volume of aluminum alloy of the whole car accounts for up to 80%, the lightweight coefficient is as low as 2.02, and the whole car is made of 2000MPa nuclear submarine-grade hot car steel in 12 places.

The extended-range version is equipped with a drive system consisting of a 1.5-liter engine and front and rear motors, of which the engine has a maximum power of 112 kW, while the front and rear drive motors have a maximum power of 165 kW and 200 kW, which means that the system has a maximum power of 365 kW (496 hp) and accelerates from zero to 100 in 4.9 seconds.

The all-electric version also has dual motors, with a maximum power of 160 kW and 230 kW respectively, and a combined maximum system power of 390 kW (530 hp), which accelerates from zero to 100 in 4.3 seconds.

The M9 sold well immediately after its launch, breaking 10,000 in 2 hours and 70,000 in 3 months, delivering more than 15,000 units last month, and still holding tens of thousands of orders, and is expected to deliver more than 20,000 units this month.
