It's the May Day holiday again, my friends and I drove to Guizhou to play, there are many ancient towns and ethnic minority villages in Guizhou, and many of these ancient towns and villages have now become tourist attractions.
During the five-day holiday, you can't go out to visit the ancient town and ancient village every day, and you also want to enrich the itinerary and attractions of the self-driving tour, and the itinerary has both cultural and natural scenery.
April and May is the season of rhododendron blooming, I have been to several rhododendron scenic spots in Guizhou, Wumeng Mountain rhododendron, Baili rhododendron, Danzhai Longquan Mountain reflecting mountain red, every rhododendron trip has amazed us.

This time, I learned in a red book that Huangping County also has a red mountain scenic spot. This scenic spot is located in the mountains of Kema Village, Gulong Town, Huangping County, Guizhou, the local people call it Dagao Mountain, therefore, this scenic spot is also called Huangping Dagao Mountain Yingshan Red Scenic Area, 42 kilometers away from Huangping County, more than 500 kilometers away from us!
Judging from the videos or pictures of the Red Book, the Yingshan Red in Dagao Mountain is very spectacular, so my friends and I decided to drive to Huangping County to see the Yingshan Red here, although the distance is not close.
We arrived here on May 4th, and we were full of joy to see the roses, but when we arrived, we found that 90% of the roses were gone, leaving only some residual flowers hanging on the branches, and there was no ornamental value.
But, we thought, we can't come in vain, right? So, we searched the mountains with our eyes wide open, and took a few photos of the occasional Yingshan red that had not completely disappeared.
The bonus is that the view from the big mountain is very open, and the view is very good, and you can see the many villages scattered in the mountains. Several of our companions happened to be people who like open and atmospheric natural landscapes, and although we didn't see the red flowers blooming all over the mountains and fields as we expected, it didn't affect our happy mood and experience on this trip.
