The Honghe Prefecture Earthquake Bureau has thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, adhered to the people-centered development philosophy, closely focused on the "3815" strategic development goals of the Provincial Party Committee and the "337" work ideas of the Provincial Party Committee, based on the responsibilities of the department, resolutely implemented the responsibility of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction, strengthened monitoring, forecasting and early warning, promoted earthquake disaster risk prevention and control, pragmatic earthquake prevention and disaster reduction science publicity, and strengthened earthquake emergency preparedness, and achieved new results in various tasks. Up to now, our state has built an earthquake early warning station network composed of 15 base stations, 10 basic stations, and 110 general stations, a strong seismic station network composed of 19 strong seismic stations, and 2 regional seismic stations, with a total of 156 seismic stations. The state's earthquake monitoring capacity has reached 0.8, and the earthquake monitoring facilities are operating normally to produce data, providing basic data support for the development of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction in Honghe Prefecture, installing and operating 2,443 sets of earthquake early warning terminals, and achieving full coverage of primary and secondary schools in the state, and in 2023, the earthquake prevention and disaster reduction work of the State Earthquake Bureau won the second prize of the comprehensive assessment of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction work in the province.
