On May 8, the first issue of "Bashu Historical Chronicles" in 2024 was published and released. This issue has 8 columns, including "Current Politics", "Cover Story", "Characters in Shu", "Bashu Literature Research", "Window of Historical Materials", "History and Culture", "Historical Research" and "Exploration of Information Governance", and publishes 30 articles with a total of more than 20 million words.
Three articles were published in the "Current Politics Highlights" column. The article "Shouldering a New Cultural Mission and Better Serving the Modernization of Sichuan Province - Sichuan Provincial Local Chronicles Work Conference Held in Chengdu" focuses on the 2024 Sichuan Provincial Local Chronicles Work Conference, and systematically summarizes the important progress and achievements made by the Sichuan Provincial Local Chronicles Department in 2023 by adhering to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, focusing on the overall economic and social development of the province to play the role of "preserving history, educating people, and providing information and administration", the important progress and achievements made in the high-quality development of local chronicles, and the valuable experience accumulated in local chronicles in recent years. and make arrangements for the key tasks of the province's local chronicle work in 2024. The article "Undertaking the New Mission of Culture and Exploring New Paths of Propaganda - A Review of the Cultural Propaganda Work of Fangzhi in Sichuan Province" summarizes the work ideas, work measures and work results of the local chronicle departments in the local chronicle department in the Fangzhi cultural propaganda work in recent years from three aspects: strengthening the propaganda position, improving the volume and energy level, optimizing the propaganda content, highlighting the characteristics of the Fangzhi, improving the publicity effect, and implementing the "three services".
