On May 8, the Red Star News reporter learned from the Sichuan High Company of Shudao Group that after more than 1,100 days and nights of construction, the Suba Bridge from Mabian to Zhaojue Section of Lexi Expressway (hereinafter referred to as Lexi Expressway) was double-width opened yesterday, laying the foundation for the completion and opening of the whole line of Lexi Expressway in 2025.
It is reported that the Suba Bridge is located in Suba Town, Mabian County, Leshan City, across the Mabian River, G348 National Highway, the whole bridge is 835.5 meters long, the main bridge is a span of 370.5 meters on the reinforced concrete stiff skeleton arch bridge, the span has been completed in the same type of highway engineering bridges ranked second in the country, Sichuan first.
The construction of Suba Bridge is faced with the problems of difficult organization, extreme climate in high-altitude mountainous areas, and high construction accuracy. "The construction area is located in a steep cliff area, the main bridge is hoisted without brackets, and the main bridge crosses the existing national and county roads, which brings challenges to the construction organization." According to the relevant person in charge of Shudao Group, compared with the construction organization, the highest construction surface of the bridge is nearly 300 meters away from the river surface, which is equivalent to the building height of 100 floors. According to the calculation, the axis error of the closure section is required to be controlled within 5 mm and the elevation within 7 mm.
In order to ensure the completion of the bridge with quality and quantity, the design scheme was continuously optimized, and the prestressed concrete low tower cable-stayed bridge was used in the early stage, and under the premise that the standard was not reduced and the function was not reduced, the optimization was changed to the main span of 370.5 meters of upward bearing reinforced concrete stiff skeleton arch bridge, saving about 40 million costs. In order to facilitate the travel of villagers on both sides of the bridge, 1.35-meter-wide pedestrian passages were set up on both sides of the bridge deck, so that the journey on both sides of the strait was shortened from 1 hour to about 15 minutes.
At the same time, in terms of technology, through the use of the main arch ring steel pipe factory processing, on-site segment production assembly. Through the innovative use of "3+1" segments, a series of means such as horizontal spelling and then vertical continuous control, the precise closure of the bridge was finally realized.
Lexi Expressway (Mabian to Zhaojue Section) is the 7th of the 8 longitudinal lines in the "Sichuan Provincial Expressway Network Planning", the route starts from Minjian Town, Mabian Yi Autonomous County, Leshan City, connects to the Mabian branch of Renmu New Expressway, passes through Leibo County, Meigu County, Liangshan Prefecture, and ends at the south side of Zhaojue County, and connects with Xichang to Zhaotong Expressway. The total length of the route is 151.753 kilometers, and the bridge-tunnel ratio is 81.78%, which is the first expressway to go deep into the hinterland of the Great and Small Liangshan Mountains.
According to the estimate, the whole line of Lexi Expressway will be completed and opened to traffic by the end of 2025, which will completely end the history of Leibo, Meigu and Zhaojue counties without expressways, open up the dual traffic channels in the Chengdu Plain and Panxi areas, and better serve the economic and social development of the large and small Liangshan and Yi ethnic settlements.
