Jiaozuo via Luoyang to Pingdingshan high-speed railway, referred to as Jiaoluoping high-speed railway, railway grade is high-speed railway, design speed 350 km/h.
The line starts from the Jueshan Line of Zhengtai High-speed Railway, goes south through Qinyang City and Jiyuan City under the jurisdiction of Jiaozuo City, crosses the Yellow River and introduces Luoyang Longmen Station of Zhengxi High-speed Railway, and passes through Yichuan County, Ruyang County of Luoyang City, and Ruzhou City under the jurisdiction of Pingdingshan City, and connects to Pingdingshan West Station of Zhengyu High-speed Railway, with a new line length of 229.2 kilometers.
Five new stations were set up on the whole line: Qinyang West, Jiyuan East, Mengjin North, Ruyang East and Ruzhou South, and Luoyang Longmen and Jiaozuo West stations were rebuilt. Longmen Station built 3 sets of 7 lines in Jiaopingchang, and 1 set of 1 line was added in Zhengxi Station; the storage yard of Luoyang Longmen Station was expanded to be used by EMUs, and 4 inspection warehouses and 12 storage lines were added and conditions for further development were reserved.
The Jiaoluoping high-speed railway project is an integral part of the "Hunan Corridor", one of the eight verticals in the national "Medium and Long-term Railway Network Planning", which is of great significance to promote the accelerated rise of the central region, improve the transportation infrastructure conditions in western Henan, and accelerate the construction of a modern railway infrastructure system.
