On May 6, 2024, the National Energy Administration (NEA) released the new and cumulative installed PV capacity for the first quarter of 2024.
In the first quarter, the new installed capacity of photovoltaic was 45.74 million kilowatts, and the cumulative installed capacity was 659.5 million kilowatts. New installations:
Household photovoltaics: 6.92 million kilowatts were added, accounting for 15.1%;
Industrial and commercial distribution: 16.89 million kilowatts were added, accounting for 36.9%;
Ground-mounted power stations: 21.93 million kilowatts were added, accounting for 47.9%;
