Steel, invincible, instantly deformed, through time and space...... These anime characters were just fantasies many years ago, but fantasies ignite dreams, and new needs inspire new momentum. With the development and application of various large models, artificial intelligence is penetrating into our lives at an unprecedented speed, reshaping the relationship between humans and computers, and opening the door to the future for us.

Humanoid robots blow your mind

In Shenzhen, Guangdong, a robot with a large model has been added to realize multi-modal perception, pattern recognition, and task decomposition by itself. Not only is the chat very silky, but the operation of folding flexible fabric clothes is also smoother.
Another robot from the company, called the Walker X, is not only faster to walk, but can also handle complex tasks such as going up and down stairs, opening bottle caps, watering flowers, and playing football.
Whether the robot can walk smoothly and respond quickly depends on the servo motor on its body. The Walker X has 41 degrees of freedom throughout its body, and each joint is a motor. Through its self-developed servo drives, the company has successfully solved the development problem of servo drives for humanoid robots, and has taken the lead in the world to achieve mass production of servo drives from small torque to large torque.
Now, the upgraded version of the Walker X, the Walker S, has begun to work in the new energy vehicle factory. With its stable body control and dexterous hand movements, it successfully completes tasks such as car door lock quality inspection and seat belt detection.
With the gradual maturity of artificial intelligence technology and the rapid development of the robot industry, humanoid robots are becoming one of the core elements of new quality productivity. Goldman Sachs, an international investment bank, predicts that the market size of humanoid robots is expected to reach $154 billion by 2035. In this field full of infinite possibilities, more technology companies are striving to explore and move forward to bring a better future to mankind.
Kuafu's "leap": open source Hongmeng, leading the new trend of smart home
In another company in Shenzhen, a humanoid robot named "Kuafu" is leading the new trend of smart home with its excellent performance. The robot weighs 45 kilograms, has 26 degrees of freedom and can travel up to 4.6 kilometers per hour.
Kwafu is good at jumping. For the first time, it uses the open-source HarmonyOS system, which can jump more than 20 centimeters in height in rapid succession, and the excellent jumping performance is due to the integrated joints independently developed by the robot company. This joint has a peak torque of more than 300 Nm, providing the robot with a high-explosive jumping ability.
Wu Yuxuan, vice president of R&D at the company, said that they test Kuafu for hours every day to continuously iterate and improve product performance.
The company's chief operating officer, Mr. Ahn Ziwei, said that they had originally set a sales target of no more than 100 units this year, but had already booked 27 units at the beginning of the year, so they raised their sales target for this year to no more than 200 units.
"Dianke No. 1": Zhixing's "slope" is on the rise
Although the humanoid robot "Dianke No. 1" has only been born for a few months, its walking ability has already reached an impressive level. It can easily handle difficult terrain such as slopes, gravel and grass, and can walk up to 5 kilometers per hour, which is equivalent to the walking speed of an adult. It can also lift up to 10 kg of weight, showing great flexibility.
This is inseparable from advanced motion planning computers and motion navigation computers. The motion navigation computer is responsible for collecting environmental information and passing it on to the motion planning computer for planning decisions. The motion control computer then sends instructions to the joints of the robot, and the drives in the joints perform the actions, so as to realize the precise walking of the robot.
Jiang Zhiyong, head of the R&D project team of the humanoid robot company, said that compared to humans who need about 20 years to grow to a working stage, humanoid robots may only need 5-10 years to reach the same level through training. This means that in the near future, we may see more and more humanoid robots entering people's lives and providing convenient services to people.
The future has come, but the change remains the same. Strategic emerging industries and future industries represented by artificial intelligence, biotechnology, new energy, and new materials are growing vigorously and accelerating the formation of new quality productivity.
China Central Radio and Television Financial Program Center micro-documentary "New Quality Productivity Forging" has a total of five episodes, namely "Promoting Quality with New", "Industrial Renewal", "Seeking Innovation from Green", "Innovation Ecology" and "Empowering the Future", which will be broadcast on the financial channel from May 1 to 5 at 9:45 a.m.
